Your thoughts on baby listening services in hotels?

Noononono, I'm a very laid back parent but the thought makes me shudder! I really can't imagine it would work with bigger kids who are more aware anyway, I know Lucas would go batshit if I left him in a strange room and fecked off.
I find people tend to be reeaally easy-going when it's not their kid too (or maybe that's just me, the only experience I have of leaving Lucas with someone other than family was a friend's partner who I found out just strapped him in his pushchair, dumped him infront of the telly and went to bed :nope:).

It might just be me but the family dining sounds great! It'd probably be a bit hectic but as someone else mentioned, kids have a habit of eating better around other kids for some reason. Could you get room service when the little ones are asleep one night?
