Zaion (thoughts please)

Hi, dh and me have decided to name our little boy Zaion (pronounced just like Zion). Initially we wanted to call him Zion but where we live, an I is pronounced like an E so people would read his name as Zeeon, so we opted for the spelling of Zaion. What do you think?

It looks like you misspelled Zion to me, sorry. I'd stick with the correct spelling personally, just correct the mispronounciations. Where do you live?

I pronounce that spelling as Zay-on. I think you'd get mispronounciations either way, so I'd stick with Zion.

I kinda think the name sound like a character from Thor, but that's not a bad thing. It's a new one on me. I think either spelling is ok, I automatically pronounced it correctly either spelling, I'm from the south of England.

as far as ive always know Zion IS pronounced Zee-on (thats how my friend pronounces his name)

so is Zaion meant to pronounced Zay-on or Z-eye-on because both sound weird and wrong to me
