£100 disregard...

Hey everyone... have seen people mention this a few times and I havnt a clue what it is.....anyone help me out??Trying to do my finances for mat leave and dont want to be missing out on something I will be due!xx

The HMR CUstoms (Tax credits people) disgregard the first £100 a week of maternity pay when working out your income on maternity leave. so Basically they say that you only get £23 (or whatever SMP is exactly) a week income. as far as i know !
