£190 for expectant mums - UK only

Just found this link which gives a £190 grant for expectant mums, I am sure you guys probably already know about it but just in case xxx

I didnt know that!!!!! Is it a new thing? As ive seen on the link, the date it stated was 7th jan 2008!

Yeah and apparently its near impossible to get.

I had my midwife on the 10th jan and asked her for a form but they had heard nothing about it, but said they had been asked all morning about them. She said theyd look into it and ive got to go back today so hopefully i can get it today, whether i will or not i dont know!

Just looked it up - it's the new grant thing that's only just started -

Who can get the Grant?
You need to:
Be at least 25 weeks pregnant.
Your expected date of delivery is on or after 6 April 2009.
Have been given health advice from a midwife or doctor to help you and your unborn baby stay healthy during pregnancy.
Be present, 'ordinarily resident' and have a ‘right to reside’ in the UK. 'Ordinarily resident' will depend on your circumstances but it usually means your main home is here."
