I'm really confused by this cycle. I got a peak opk this afternoon but it's already gone back to high which is weird for me because I usually have peak for 2 or 3 days. I'm ovulating earlier than I usually do. Also I just randomly had some spotting also my husband has a job interview tomorrow and is too stressed to dtd tonight

Can I join? I’m 4dpo today, so shouldn’t test until 18/19th. Probably won’t wait that long though. I don’t think I’m hugely hopeful because we have been having some problems - my husband has a varicocele and since he has had this I have been pregnant three times, all last year, all resulted in losses and I haven’t had a positive test since. We haven’t been trying as such, because I had LLETZ in September, but this cycle we have tried properly (as much as possible, I have had cystitis which has been such fab timing) and I have done my temps with OPKs for a more accurate idea of things. We are under the fertility clinic because of the losses and because I’m also 39, so I know my fertility may not be what it used to be. I have one more repeat blood test to do because my GP surgery or the lab messed it up, but otherwise everything appears fine. I asked for a progesterone test too, which was perfect. I keep getting spotting during my luteal phase, anywhere from 6dpo onwards, but I don’t yet know why. That started after my treatment, but I also had the second Pfizer vaccine four weeks later which is when it started, so I’m not sure if it’s messed things up. Fertility consultant said he wants me on Cyclogest anyway if I do get pregnant, from the first positive test. I’m hoping so much this cycle is our lucky cycle. I hope everyone here has luck too

In your position I would just keep using OPKs, a few times each day, until they’re negative. If you’re doing temps you will see a shift which will tell you ovulation has happened but otherwise just keep using the sticks till they’re negative. I wish you lots of luck!

Thank you! I think my OPK today looks less dark compared to the OPK yesterday. The test line should be as dark as the control line right? I don't check my temperatures either.

@elmum Thank you, the first tests were so clear but now I can’t see any progression sadly. I totally understand your need for a break. I wish you all the luck for your next cycle!

@CakeBaby It did look so good to start with but it looks more and more like another chemical sadly.

@Suggerhoney Thank you Suggar. I’m not sure if I dare to put it down as BFP just yet. The last days the tests have no progression so I think sadly it’s another chemical. Today is 13dpo and the line is there but still very faint.

out of curiosity are the tests Frer? It so then I had 5 days where they just stalled and wouldn’t go darker. It made me worry so much because I had already had 4 chemicals in 7 months and I was terrified of losing again. But 18dpo came around and they started getting darker again. I hope this is the case for you.

Hi, hoping I'm posting in the right place, I had a chemical back in January or a blue dye distaster not sure which one, been TTC since October and currently 10 DPO, I done an IC last night and could see a shaddow, nobody else could see it, are these tests very unreliable with shaddows? So afraid to test again. Tried to attach chart, but no idea what I'm doing so may not show

hello welcome to the group hon. Chart looks good. Sorry u had a chemical. I’ve had alot of them myself and a late first trimester loss it’s awful. Fixed u get ure rainbow soon. Seeing BFNs is so disheartening and Getting lines that get tainter instead of darker sucks. Hope that shadow turns into a BFP for you.

Good morning ladies sorry I've been quiet. Now on cd7. Opks at the ready as I normally have my peak around cd9-10. Been away having some pamper time to help my mental health so took a few days out of life whe my kids are away to their grans but back and ready feeling my best than I have in a long time. How are we all doing x

Yay nearly ovulation time again. Hope you get lucky this time around love.

Positive opk today at cd15 I didn't ovulate until cd25 last cycle so this is much better

I understand. Your chart looks swell though. I don’t know about implantation pains or in. Never experienced either. Currently I can’t make heads or tails of this cycle since I suspected a cyst rather than true ovulation. I am on progesterone pills just in case I did though. I am 6dpo too and got a sore throat to go with the snuffy nose from yesterday. It’s pollen season here and I’ve been bad at taking my meds. My temps mean nothing cause I am sure mouth sleeping at this point lol. Here’s to this cycle or next …heck any cycle as long as it happens.

thanks love. I had a sore throat and stuffy nose when I was pregnant with my nearly 3 year old I’ve heard that can be a sign because the immune system isn’t as strong when pregnant. I have it all fixed that this is a sign for you.

@salamander91 u can have a short surge. I had a really short one when we fell with our nearly 3 year old. I also had a short surge last cycle. This cycle was alot longer. I think it can sometimes vary from month to month. Are you temping hon?

I’ve been taking a break but checking in quietly here and there.

I will try and go back and read everything but it’s pretty busy here at the moment.

cd13 now and still yet to ovulate, I was sure I would ovulate cd12 again like last month as my period is shorter than it used to be now.

anyway I’ll keep testing and hope for the peak soon.

@FTale this isn't the first time he had to have his heart restarted he had it done the 8th Jan this year, I'm worrying as surely there is only so many times they can restart a heart xx

I am sorry I missed that this is the second occurrence. Did the doctors mention a pace maker? I know that was the next step for my brother if it didn’t get in sync. I am so sorry you all are going through this. But if his heart couldn’t take it I don’t think they would bother with that procedure. Hoping they are some good doctors and can get his heart strong again. Did they give him meds or just first life style change? I know in my family we have heart problems later in life so I am trying to get a hold of my own health.

Praying for strength for his heart to pull through and stay strong. Hugs

FF has confirmed ovulation so I’m officially in the 2ww. @Suggerhoney can you put me down for the 18th? I will be 10DPO so still early but knowing me I won’t last any longer. Can’t for the life for me remember what DPO I got my faint positives with my other two.

Tdog big hugs and all the best. Doctors achieve tremendous things these days and miracles exist. Child had a heart rate of 230 for about 4 weeks causing liquid to form within 3 areas of his body. They fixed it it reduced to 170ish I think so mildy tachycardic, fluid went, then became normal. Believe your hubby is in safe hands cardiac team, they seem so determined, dedicated and push limits of what is possible. Bet he's a tough cookie too
