Hi ladies sorry to jump in

Like @Shorty88 I will more than likely be having my baby in September as well.
My pregnancy is very very high risk as I am a liver transplant patient and I'm on anti rejection medication.
Also with DD i had severe pre eclampsia and that liver condition u get in pregnancy that causes severe itching. I was induced at 35+4.
Originally i was booked in to be induced at 37 weeks and then it got moved forward to 36 weeks but in the end they had to get her out at 35+4.
I am at a higher risk of having the same problems with this pregnancy as well and it's unlikely I will be able to go any further than 37 weeks.
I am hoping that I do get to 36 or 37 weeks this time I'm really scared of having another premature baby but if I can keep little man in there until the very least 36 weeks I will be happy.
I am already showing signs of the liver condition so I'm having alof of bloodtests to keep an eye on things.
I'm an older mum to be as well I'm 39 so that puts me at an even higher risk. Anyway just wanted to say hi:hi:

@Suggerhoney I had preeclampsia with my oldest! Then with my 3rd living baby i had cholestasis. I had to have him out at 36+0. I’m already showing signs this time as well. It’s a little scary my itching started at 15 weeks this time. Wishing you well and I’m sure everything will go great.

Oh hon u poor thing.
That's what I had pre eclampsia and cholestasis (cudnt remember the name of it b4)
So that's why I had to have my DD at 35+4.
I'm also showing signs again now. The itching is driving me up the wall. Have you found anything to help with the itching?
Even the palms of my hands have started to itch. Its horrible.
I'm see a liver specialist on Wednesday and shud get yesterdays blood results then.
It's so scary isn't it hon.
The itching can be really intense esp at night.
My belly is super itchy today but I'm not sure if that's because my bump is growing and the skin is stretching. But it's the palms of my hands that are worrying me.
I really hope and pray I get to 36 weeks this time.
I'm sorry u have experienced this as well its really not nice
 
I haven’t found a help for the itching unfortunately @Suggerhoney. It’s awful! The bottoms of my feet are the worst!

Oh hon I'm so sorry. The bottoms of my feet have not been to bad but I've been getting itchy palms.
It's mainly my belly and my chest that itch the most. I will just have to wait and see what the liver doctor says. I'm also high risk pregnancy consultant lead. I have to have bloodtests done every 3 to 4 weeks but I guess it's good there keeping a close eye on things.
I hate being itchy it's just awful

Have our anatomy scan on May 9th which is sooooooo far away. I’ll be 21 weeks by then.

Welcome MrsReed!! How crazy your boys have all come in a row! This will be my third boy as well but my first summer pregnancy! (My other two boys were born in Jan and Feb)

Sugar honey and TTC- I had never heard of that liver condition! How scary and horrible with the itching! Keep us updated!

Hi ladies good to see this post active again.
I will definitely be having my baby early so it will September like I guesed.
I was diognosed with cholestasis of pregnancy at 17 weeks so all the itching was exactly what I feared.

I'm in medication for it and my bile acid levels have come down a bit and are only slightly elevated. I will stay on this medication until I have the baby.
I will either be induced b4 37 weeks or will have a c section. Will find out more hopfully in July 9th when I see my high risk ob/gyn.
My midwife has told me Im its very doughtful I will make as far as 37 weeks but even if I make it to 35 I'll be happy.
It's my nannas 83rd birthday on 11th September and she is like a mother to me so it wud be cool if I have him that day. I'll be 35+2 so theres a high possibility.

Hi ladies just popping over again from the october thread.

I saw my high risk pregnancy consultant today and i will be induced at 37 weeks. It may be a bit earlier but at the moment its 37 weeks which will be the 23rd September.

Thought i wud join u all on here i hope u all dont mind. :hi:
