Thank you to all of you for your lovely messages, it means so much. I think definitely that hospitals and doctors now have to watch their backs and that all these tests are just precautionary. Its seems from the research that I have done on this that the majority to come out clear.
I'm just so pleased that I can relax and carry on with my pregnancy now.... can't wait to meet "my little bean" as I call it. Has been an emotional rollercoaster of a couple of weeks but it seems that my blood test was where the risks were found, but it apparently depends on your hormones that day, whether you were exhausted, had eaten, change in medication etc....
I was lucky enough to have a very supportive and lovely screening nurse who answered all my questions and didn't mind me ringing up nearly everyday with new questions to ask. If you get one like that, they are great, she was even with me at the procedure holding my hand.
Wishing all of you best wishes with your pregnancies and little ones, make sure you post pictures of them when they arrive..... tell you what, I'll start a new thread of due dates and we can all follow each other!!!
Much love to you all, Sarah xxxxx
