+1 protein

Hi ladies,

My urine came back as +1 protein and +2 leukocytes on my 33 wk app on Wednesday. My blood pressure is good I think 110/60.

Anyone had similar and if so what happened? She did mention urine infection maybe? I've noticed my wee is darker the last week or so even though I'm drinking 2 litres of water a day as per normal.

Sounds like infection as you have the white blood cells as well. I had +1 protein at the hospital Wednesday and 24 hour urine came back in the normal range today.

Thanks, what did you have to do for the infection? Antibiotics?

I didn't have a bladder infection this pregnancy (did have BV which may have caused the +1 protein), but did last pregnancy. Either would need to be treated with antibiotics. You'll have to ask the doctor.
