My baby turns 1 next week and I am thinking of getting her some sort of ride on or little bike either for her birthday or Christmas.

Can anybody recommend anything.... am a bit confused about skuttlebugs etc  and what age group things are for. Is a traditional little ride on better at this age?

I think she would be too young for the scuttlebug. DD got one for her first birthday but only really started using it at 19/20months. She got a wheelybug at 16 months which she loved but she also loved her cousins fisher price ride on at that age- the kind that tesco sell in offer for £15 quite often.

My LO was 15 months at his first Christmas and got a scuttle bug that didn't really get used for months and months. He much preferred a cheap plastic ride on that santa gave him at my works Christmas party. He loved that we tied string to it and pulled him around as it took a while for him to get the idea of how to move his legs to make it move by himself

My LO got this for her 1st birthday and it is fantastic!!

We git a v tech grow and go bike when she was 8 months for half price at sainsburys . It starts as a rocker then is a bike . She still plays with it .

OHs mum recently bought Alice the fisher price little people princess ride on, she loves it.

I got my lo the plastic toy stpry ride on for his 1dt birthday and i think its probobly been the most played with toy hes ever had! It would get used daily!

My lo got a disney princess ride on for christmas when she was 1 yr 2 mnths and she loved it. She pushed it around a lot but as she got older started sitting and pushing herself along. You can get them forabout £15.

We have got her a scuttlebug for her 2nd birthday.

Xx

My DD got a hetty vacuum ride on, she absoloutely loved it and still to this day uses it every day, (she's sat zooming around the room on it as I type!) she loves that she can ride on it and store some toys inside it too! X

I got my son older a Scuttle Bug for his first birthday, he could use it even though he couldn't walk. He didn't end up using it much but he is autistic which we didn't know at the time and doesn't do ride ons/bikes/scooters anything like that.

This is my younger son's Christmas and birthday lists if they help. Thomas is one on Jan 31st.
