10 dpo negative hpt positive opk? Please dont read and run

Hiya ladies

As above says i decided to do a hpt tonight as ive had a few symptoms and have been having very strong cramping on and off today,backache,increase need to pee,achey legs,headaches and some extreme exhaustion.

So i did a test and thought i may as well do an opk as there was one in the bathroom and the hpt was neg and the opk was positive (came up quicker than any opk has for me before) within seconds...

What is going on? I am pretty certain i ovulated 10 days ago but now i have no idea whats going on....please dont read an run x

Hi babe, I don't want to get your hopes up...but I have seen girls on other forums get + opk's before being able to get a BFP...so from what I've seen this is good news! At 10dpo it's still early for htps!

Good luck (I bet you get a bfp in 3 or 4 days)

Sometimes if the HCG is still too low, an HPT can't detect it BUT an OPK can. Just keep in mind that there will always be two lines on an OPK. If the test line is as dark as the control line then it's positive and it's possible it's picking up HCG in your urine.

Still negative hpt...am 13 dpo today so i dont know what to think....altho it feels like af is coming xx

I am really curious also.... I am about 17dpo and still getting BFN... I am thinking about trying and OPK and seeing what that says... =) Have you gotten your BFP yet???

according to her signature looks like she got her BFP afterall! you know i'm running right upstairs to pee on all my remaining OPKs. they have to be used anyway as they're not individually wrapped! haha

I counted it up, so she did get a positive. Hmmmm.... I'm 13dpo and my test have been negative. Couple of IC questionable ones but I feel like I'm out.

i haven't started clomid yet. i have the prescription in the HIGHLY unlikely event AF comes this month. i ovulate on my own, so the clomid is only to help me ovulate earlier in the month. no trigger shot.
