10dpo dollar store test - need eyes!! *update with 11dpo test*

Good morning ladies, thanks for all the responses! I just posted this in my thread in the 2WW but I'm going to post it here too:
As encouraging as my tests look, I think I have to disregard them for now. This morning yielded the same as the other days, a negative FRER and a stupid little, more or less colourless, second line on my $ store test that came up closer to 10 minutes. I'm assuming this is an evap line and maybe this brand is just really bad for them.
I'm hoping I miscalculated my 'O' dates since I don't chart or anything and maybe AF is due after Feb.16th. Guess we'll see. I'll probably continue to take a $ store test each morning (gotta admit it's kind of fun and not to mention addictive!! lol) but I'm not going to buy anymore FRERs until Thursday, assuming AF hasn't shown up by then. (DH gets back from camp on Thursday and if I test before that with a , I just know I'll end up telling him over the phone which I don't want to do!!) I'll keep everyone updated and post some more pictures if I see a change but until then.....wish me luck and good luck to everyone else!!! Happy Valentine's Day!!!

I have NEVER seen one on any that I have taken and I could seriously have a stock with them I have purchased sooo many. Looks like a BFP to me. I got a BFN on my FRER at 11 dpo and a BFP that looked much like your pics at 13 dpo, but didn't get a BFP on the FRER until 14 dpo. I say give it a day and test again with the $ tests. If it come up faint in 3-5 min if it's a BFP. My BFN's on the $ tests weren't even a question, not even a hint of an evap.

Maybe these so-called amazing FRERs aren't all they're cracked up to be!! lol I'll wait until either 14 or 15dpo to test again on both the $ store brand and the FRER and hopefully have some clear results!! I took another $store test this morning at 12dpo and it looked exactly the same as yesterday's tests (the ones I posted) so I'm soooooo confused to say the least. Wishing this could just be straight forward!

I had the same thing happen last night with 2 $ store tests and then a BFN on FRER this morning.

The round of dollar store tests on this thread turned out to be evaps and the FRER was correct on the BFN. Got my period a couple days later. I did get pregnant the following month though (end of March I got my BFP) but had some similar looking tests on the dollar store brand. They were a bit more clear though and didn't have the wonky dye thing going on that theses ones did. So I guess maybe they were the start of my BFP but just really really faint/colourless. The FRER ended up being the last test that picked up on the BFP.

Yes, I tested a bit ago with a dollar store from a different location (thinking maybe a different batch) and once again *sigh* I can see a very faint line and it did come up within the 10 minute time limit.
I will test again tomorrow with FMU and tell you what happens.
What are the chances of having 3 dollar store evaps but a BFN on FRER???
I thought the FRER's were better tests than the $ store??

I am quickly going crazy.......

It sounds pretty good that you're getting so many faint lines; always a good sign. FRERs are tricky and don't necessarily pick up on positives right away I found. I'm a firm believer in the generic pregnancy tests and dollar stores ones. That being said, it's always nice to confirm with a FRER.

I did test again just a while ago though and again, got a faint line on the dollar store but I don't think it's any darker than the one I got yesterday...maybe? I can't say for sure.
If this was a positive would it not be darker today? I am 11dpo today.

This is nuts and to top it off it's Canada Day and everything is closed so I can't run out and try another brand.

How many dollar stores did you take in total that month? Did you get a noticeable line on ALL of them?
Wondering if this is a bad batch?

I know with my last pregnancy, last Sept (I miscarried at 10 weeks )
I got a similar to this looking line on 11dpo (did not test prior to that) and then at 12 dpo it was darker and that prompted me to take a FRER and it was really faint as well. Here's to tomorrow I guess.

Now that it's been about 20 minutes and I have pulled the test apart, I THINK I can see that the line is pink but it's so hard to tell what is real and what your mind is tricking you with....plus I know at this length of time the test is invalid anyway.

I would test on about 4-5 dollar store tests every month and on the month I got pregnant, there were faint lines on all of them. The month before was a fluke with 2-3 that had bad evaps/wonky dye stuff going on. That and I was looking so hard that I think I made myself see a line! haha

I can't remember how many DPO I was when I got my BFP because my cycles were messed up due to nursing my son so I never really found out. Somewhere between 8-12dpo though. Sorry to hear about your previous loss.....they're never easy. I miscarried at 6 weeks before conceiving my son. That was before I became obsessed with peeing on sticks though so I can't even remember the outcome there.

If the line is looking pinkish, that's an awesome sign!!! Hopefully you can get some pictures up soon!! That'll help you to relax because it won't be just you looking at them. It's easy to go insane with line-eye!

I am in Ontario. Actually...I did call Shoppers Drug Mart and they were open today...went to buy 2FRER regular and 2 FRER Digital. Go a faint line on the plain FRER and a "NO" on the digital.
