11 months!!

I cannot believe I have made it to 11 months, though I must admit after 6 months its gotten worse and worse, because my LO is just so distracted by anything and everything.
This will be my last month bfing, I might do the odd feed next month while weaning as I'm sorta clueless on how to wean, so any pointers would be great.
My LO def prefers the bottle so I won't really have any problems weaning her when its time, though she still won't drink ANY milk from a sippy cup
Its so bittersweet, I'm happy to have made it this long, and when she actually is interested in nursing its a great bond.. but then I'm anxious for my body back.

Congrats, AC! I remember we were in 3rd tri together and I think you had that amazing cheesecake-looking avatar. Time just flies! I know nothing about weaning, but I hope it goes smoothly for you and your dd.

Glad you posted this! I forgot to update my blinkie. We hit 11 months yesterday. One of the happiest and saddest days. lol Mostly b/c I am in denial about the upcoming birthday. I have declared that we don't say the "Y" word in this house. Only months old. lolol

You'll have to let us know how the weaning goes. My milk dried up at 9mo w/my first (who was pretty much using other stuff by then anyway), so I didn't feel like I had a choice or really 'did' anything about it. I'm curious to know what it is like and what it entails.
