12 days DPO and HCG is 17??? doc said she is concerned

Hi all I had a positive OV test on 08/01 I am 12 DPO and tested a faint positive test. Had an HCG done today and doc said level was only 17 she said she is concerned?? Anyone have similar situation... from everything i am reading this seems somewhat normal not sure why she is concerned. I had a MC 04/29/15 had d&C..... any advice???

Docs get alarmed at diff things - some are so set in beliefs of wqhat is good or bad...that's why there is such a thing as a 2nd opinion hehe
Don't worry. They can guess all they like, but some pregs are slower double than others, OR later implant than you expect even if you know when your O day was.
Just give it a couple days and if it doubles or is close to doubling, don't let them stress you out.
Here's a link to a beta database, and you can see how wide the poss range is for a single baby hcg at 12dpo, so try and get them to do a repeat or 2 to put your mind at ease.
