12 DPO, brown discharge

12 DPO = BFN (booooooo!)

Spotting hasn't stopped, neither is the dull cramping, but this morning, the blood is brown.
Really dark brown, I don't usually see this before AF, and yes I spot before AF, but usually 1-2 days before and definitely not this color and not with tiny dark brown clots.
Boobs are still sore, but not as sore as they used to, either that or I just got used to it by now. LOL

This first attempt at conceiving has been quite interesting, I am learning a lot about my body. But the TWW wait has been pretty intense.

So now I am SO hopeful that this is a good sign, but at 12 DPO and BFN... It's a mental workout to keep positive.

Anyone experiencing this?

Well, if this is IB, then it would make sense you got a BFN. You usually won't get a BFP until 3-6 days past implantation. Sounds good though! Remain cautiously optimistic

I'm going through the same thing. Started last night and got a bit of brown spotting so I put on a pad, pad was clean this morning and nothing when I wiped. Nothing all morning and then a little tiny bit of brown again.
I keep hoping it's late IB, but with so many BFNs in the past few days using the most expensive and earliest tests on the market, I'm just assuming it's AF being stubborn and starting off slow.
I'm expecting AF to be in full swing within a couple of days.

Yeah, same... I am not sure if you live in Canada, but you can buy a lot of tests from makeababy.ca. That's where I got them from, I had them delivered to me in 2 days and they are really cheap. I think ebay has them too.

Anyhow, I will assume the same and go on with Christmas - if I keep thinking about this, I am going to go nuts and drive everyone else around me nuts as well.

Cautiously optimistic is a great way to look at it actually. Thank you!

I usually get that brown spotting before AF. Its super annoying...it will be enough for a liner, then you put the liner on and nothing, then once you take it off, here comes the old witch!
I hope it is IB for you!!
I am also 12DPO and BFN this am. No spotting for me though...just dull cramping for a few days and sore big boobs.
Crossing my fingers for a late BFP for all of us!

I took a lot of notes with my first pregnancy... and as I looked back on them I noticed I got a BFN at 12 dpo. Then at 13 dpo I thought I got my period!!! Used tampons and everything for 3 days. Finally at 16 dpo (I had an extra pregnancy test lying around) I just wanted to pee on it "to see" and I got my BFP. Weird. But it just goes to show, some pregnancy tests take awhile to detect you are pregnant (I used FRER). GOOD LUCK!!!

No brown spotting for me, i usually always get that before i get my period, but now i am 10 days po my iui & I am having light pink bleeding, but it is very light.Anyone else have this?
