12 weeks scan and blood test results

I am 35 years old and just had my 12 scan, it came back that i have a 1 in 17 of having a downs baby but i dont know wat showed up in my blood test for them to come to this conclusion. the fluids in baby neck came back as 2.5mm so just on border line, i am worried silly and dont no what to do or how to feel. going out my mind, i dont want to have them test as there a chance of miscarrige and dont want to do that and i lose my baby when it never had anything wrong it in first place, can anyone help?

^ What the other girls said Alot of it is calculated by how old you are, the older you are, the higher chance of a baby with downs. Try posting in another section for better responses
