Don't worry, be happy
My morning sickness left right after the 1st trimester and from there on I was symptom-free. You can't believe how worried I was for ages, but it's completely normal!!! I wasn't tired anymore, felt like going clubbing
, worked my butt off, didn't have any noticeable movement, but no bleeding or other pain either. At 20 weeks + 5 days I then finally felt the first real baby thump, whereas others had felt their babies with like 14 weeks and that added to my worries.
Now I'm at 26 + 1 and guess what??? If it wouldn't be for her occasional kick or thumping, I'd still not feel pregnant. I am FINAAAALLY barely showing now and getting a little more tired again, but besides that I still worry about her well-being. Every time I go to the doctor/midwife I dread that they won't find the heartbeat or tell me something is wrong, but nope, she's a happy girl inside of me, just a little shy to push my belly out, telling others she's in there.
I guess it's left to say: welcome to the world of worried moms(to be)! You'll be worried from now on at least til your LO is grown up, but probably more towards until the day you die. I'm almost 25 now and my parents still worry, so I guess it stays, just changes into different worries when the LO's grow up. We'll have to figure out how to live with that worry.
As for now, I'm sure everything is fine with your bubs! Keep your head up high and enjoy the pregnancy as much as you can!
