:(

I would be furious.. There is no excuse for it IMO. My OH is allowed to go out whenever he wants as long as I have a heads up of where he is going and I have a way to get a hold of him. He has went out ONCE for a friends stag and had called to check in a couple times. He WANTS to be home with his family most nights.

I think you two need to have a serious talk. First about the disappearing all night.. its unacceptable. What if something had happened to LO or you, you wouldn't of been able to get a hold of him.. there is no reason if his phone died that he couldn't of used someone else's to give you a heads up so you knew where he was and had his friends number in case of an emergency.

Second about the way hes treating you. Also unacceptable. You deserve a break too and it was your night for one. After all it is hard work being a nanny and roommate. Which brings me to why the hell is he acting like you're the bad guy for taking care of your child and cooking dinner. What are you supposed to do? Neglect your LO and all go hungry so he can get his rocks off (I'm assuming that's his problem bc I cant think of why the hell being fed and taken care of is a bad thing?) most men wish they were that lucky! I think its time for a huge reality check for him. I think counseling is a great idea. Honestly my OH would be out the door so quick he wouldn't know how my size 7 shoe got so far up his arse!

I'm going through a problem like this with a friend of mine - I think that when someone acts like this before they are a parent, they're just being an ignorant asshole, but when they are still doing this and they have KIDS, there's no bloody excuse for it. No matter which parent it is, pulling shit like that when you have a kid at home is completely inexcusable. Not to mention treating you like a doormat, I'd be furious but I'm the kind of person who silently seethes and then shows my dissatisfaction with swift action - I don't yell as I think it gives them ammunition to throw back at you even when it's them in the wrong. I'm so sorry, you don't deserve this in the least.
