First of all bubs looks absolutely wonderful and healthy, nearly pinching myself in case it's a wonderful dream! 10 tiny fingers and 10 tiny toes, heart with all the valves doing as they should, kidneys filtering and draining, blood vessels in the right spots going in the right directions...so,so,so thrilled.

And of course the little bonus of finding out we are firmly, once again on Team BLUE! :blue:

I really truly didn't mind either way,but it's fantastic being able to tell Alex he's got a little brother on the way! I bit the bullet and finally made a purchase for this little one - I've been so scared to before now, and of course the negative troll still lurks but today I wanted to celebrate just a little. As he'll be an aussie winter bub I picked a bright royal blue all-in-one.

Phew, what a day. For the first time in a looooooong time I feel good, it's really wonderful!

CONGRATULATIONS!!! :happydance::happydance::happydance: That's fantastic news and so exciting. Congrats on your little boy. Have you told your other little one? What was his reaction?

Aww, thanks guys~ :hugs:
Alex's hobby for a long time was jumping on my tummy whenever he saw me laying or sitting down, so I guess he's 'known' as much as a toddler can for a while. I work part-time and have him in day care for those three days and apparently he keeps chatting about his 'brother-sister' and asking to see everyones tummy which I think is so cute.

So now whenever he says 'brother-sister' we just gently correct him to say 'brother'. He's so protective of the printed scan pictures too, he's such a loving little man - I'm sure he's going to be a great big brother. :happydance:
