1hour glucose test

My last pregnancy I had Gestational diabetes. SO this time my OBGYN wanted to test me earlier, at 16weeks.

SO I went today for the test. And seeing as I won't know the result until next week at my next prenatal visit, when I got home, I rushed to my mother's room to use her glucometer to get a basic idea of what I might be seeing at my visit on the 22nd.

The result:120.

I googled it right quick and different sources sat that under 140 is normal or under 130 is normal.

It is approx a 15 minute drive home, so the difference couldn't vary that much, right? Is it safe for me to assume I passed???

For pregnant women it's 130, 140 is the one hour for a normal person but I'd say if they base it off of those numbers, you probably passed...15 minutes isn't too much time but are you taking into consideration that it took some time to get out of the office and did you test the second you walked in the door or did it take you a few minutes to get settled and test? Either way it sounds like you most likely passed however if it was a little higher they might say you're borderline...

I tested the moment we walked in the door. I didn't want to waste anymore time. I did consider it took us a minute or two to get out of the office.

I will know next Wednesday if I passed or not.

They tested me at 23 weeks 2 hour test i passed however since i had it last time they doing a 1 hour test at 28 weeks as well.So even if you do pass they may retest again later i was so happy i passed i wasnt expecting to have to test again

I was kinda betting on that. Seems like something they would do. I will let you know if she tells me she will want to retest later if I passed.
