1st month using OPKS anyone in same boat??

Hi Everyone

This is my 6th Cycle TTC#1 and my and OH and I have decided to start using OPKS.

This is my 1st month using them and from what I’ve read I am very hopeful

So far Im on CD10 and am on the look out for + OPK at the mo and am every other day until +OPK then will try everyday.

Anyone else on their first month using OPK?? Would be nice to buddy up with someone in the same boat.

Will be testing with HPT looking for a on 12th July unless I cave in and test sooner.

I will be using them for the first time next cycle. Which will probably be starting in the next couple days! I am very hopeful as well!!

I have heard a few things about them being hard to read (the none digi ones).

I am using the regular line opks and they seem to be working quite well and I find them quite easy to read, I am using the Tescos brand now as I ran out of the cheapy ones.

As I have no idea when I O I have been using them since AF stopped so that I don’t miss my surge.

The last few days the test line has gradually been going darker but no where near positive yet, I am glad that they seem to be getting darker tho as I see it as a bit of a heads up that the surge is coming which means more accuratley timed

I have a 28 day cycle normally however it has played up recently but I cant wait to actually know when I o this month as I dont think I will be as stressed in the TTW.

Meeeee!!! I have a couple of Digi ones and some IC - so I am using both at the moment so when I get a smiley face I can compare to the IC's.

Its been making me nervous waiting for the positive!

I am on CD14 and only started testing CD 11 so I hope I havent missed it! If I don't get a postitive this time I will test from the day AF stops next cycle.

I'm in the same boat and we should be testing the same day as well July 12th! I feel like I"m performing a science experiment every time I use one of the OPKs. haha!

It is fun to see the line get darker. I've started testing twice a day so I don't miss my surge.

Yes, me! I did use them last year but got frustrated and gave up. This is 11th month TTC. I posted a new thread with a pic wondering if what I got today was a positive as I'm just not sure. I think it has to get a bit darker to be a positive, so hopefully its the start of the surge and I'll get a definite postive over the next few days. Good luck!

This is only our 2nd month TTC. Last month the timing wasn't fantastic for my O. We weren't able to BD at the optimal times. I've been charting off and on for 2.5 years, so I usually have a pretty good idea about when I O, but I want some more reassurance with the OPK.

Hope this is the month for all of us!
