1st ovulation after mc?

Hi ladies,

Big congrats to you all! Just hoped you might answer a question for me please? I mc at 7 wks on 28th march. If I count this as cd1 I am now cd17. I have usually ovulated day 14-17. But nothing so far. No signs and opk blank.
I am desperate to try again this month before af as doc said its ok. But I am terrified I won't ever ovulate again! It's as stressful waiting for pos opk as waiting for bfp this time.
Just wondered if any of you know when you ovulated in the month after mc? Was it later that normal??
Any help would be great!!

Hi Hun, I can't be of much help I'm afraid but I didn't want to read and run. I miscarried at 4+5 on 6th of feb and I believe I ovulated as normal, I don't use OPK's but I has my usual ovulation pains. Then I got my BFP exactly 4 weeks after I lost my first. I will be 6 weeks on Monday and terrified to say the least! Maybe cause you were further alOng than I was your cycle may take a bit longer to settle back to normal. I hope you O soon hun and hope you get a BFP with a super sticky bean sooner rather than later xxx

Miscarriages affect every women's body slightly. It might take a while for your body and cycle to get fully back to normal. Some women skip an ovulation before things get back. I would just wait a little longer. It takes time for our bodies to heal. If another cycle goes by without ovulation you could talk to your doctor but at this point I think it is too early to think anything is wrong. From my own experience, I wanted to get pregnant again as soon as possible after my losses. Sometimes my body went right back into a cycle and other times it took a bit longer.

I am so very sorry for your loss, hoping that your body gets back to normal soon.

Thank you for your replies ladies. I am happy to say I got pos opk yesterday and again today. In past I have had pos for 2 days and ovulated on the 2nd. So prob ovulating today on mothers day!! We dtd last night and again this morning with preseed and soft cups so fingers crossed!!! Xxxx
