1st ultra sound... not good

I had my first ultrasound today at 9 weeks. We could see the sac; however, we couldn't see a baby Dr said I either had a mc or I had fibroids blocking the baby... has anyone had this happen??? I had blood work and I'm getting another us on Tuesday... right now it's just a waiting game.

So sorry love, was there a yolk sac in the gestational sac? I have had 2 blighted ovums where there was nothing in the sac. Was the scan done on ur belly or vaginal?

Unfortunately my experience did not have a happy ending. My first pregnancy I went in for my 8 weeks scan and saw nothing but the sac. Not even a yolk sac. We waited until 9 weeks and there was still nothing to be seen. They are called blighted ovum and there is absolutely nothing you can do to prevent them as it has to do with the egg and sperm that joined together at conception.

However, I have heard stories of some women having a tilted uterus and being misdiagnosed. My fingers are crossed for you.
