2 years plus TTC....Now going to have a Lap & Dye and Ovarian drilling.

To be honest I'm so busy and a bit stressed at work that I haven't had a lot of time to mull it over, probably for the best! I think I will get nervous the 1st week in jan but my friend has just had something similar done and was fine so I'm justing thinking I'm sure I will be too!

How about you? X

Im quite relaxed this time as i worked myself up for the one i was meant ro of had so im not really thinking about it to be honest- im sure like you the week before i will be super duper nervous lol! But ill have new year to take my mind off it and then just a few days after it my op...

The thing im dreading is waking up and being in pain really and the incisions being sore but i guess if it helps to get our little miracle it will be well worth it!
X

Scerena- how did your surgery go? I had mine on he 12th. Xx

:hi:KatCrazy, hope you don't mind but I was just reading your post and noticed you had your op on the 12th I had mine on the 11th lol. Hope it all went well for you. :)

:hi:
I forgot to update this thread...
Yes my op went fine thanks hun I had it on the 3rd...

They found a blockage on my tube only a little mucus one but they unblocked it thankd god so now I have two tubes :)

They said my uterus looks fine :)

I had the OD done- They said my ovaries werent too bad but lazered some off

The whole results were kind of short and quick I have my follow up appointment on the 21st feb to talk in more detail but it was all good news :)

How was your op? I hope you also got good results?
How was your pain after- I stopped meds after about 3 days and just had the odd paracetamol...
x

Scerena- really pleased to hear yours went well and sounds like the pain wasn't too bad for you after. Are you just waiting to see if AF shows?

Paulapuddle- would be really good to hear your story, I haven't come across many having this op. x

As for me, I was in pain for afew days from the gas they pump in but apart from that fine. I basically have very polycystic ovaries, twice the normal size! So they did 4 holes in each. Everything else fine. Just got to see if it's done the job now, hoping that AF will show up soon. If it does I then have to go for day 21,28 and 35 progesterone blood tests.

Keep us posted girls, good to hear others journeys. X :flower:

I was on af when they done the procedure so im not expecting af just yet, thats good they are tracking your cycles- have you had your follow up appointment already then? And i had no gas pain just a little pain from my incisions. Im glad to hear that your recovery was quite quick also and you wasnt in too much pain either :)

Yes will definately stay in touch :)
X

My follow up appointment is in 3 months time I just have to see what happens between now and then, hopefully I will have had a few periods and the progesterone tests or even better be pregnant! X :haha:

i hope that you're pregnant by then too :)
My follow up appointment was May as my FS is very busy but I rescheduled with another FS to be seen sooner as I want a plan I hate not having a plan I didnt have a plan for a good few months before the op so I just want things to move forward this year... :dust: :dust: x

:hi: KatCrazy

I only had the 4 holes drilled on each ovary for my PCOS, everything else is very healthy. :happydance: I too had the pain from the gas but apart from that I was ok. My oh waited on me hand and foot for a couple of days which was nice lol. Wed was my 1st day out of the house, had to keep reminding myself to take it easy tho because of the stiches. Me and my OH were able to :sex: 4 days after the surgery which was great :laugh2:... Im hoping my af will arrive within the next few weeks i have however been using opk since cd8 and will continue using them until the :witch: arrives (if she arrives at all). Hope all is well with you :)

Hi paulapuddle, sounds like your in a very similar situation to me. Well done on the BDing so soon! I still don't quite feel upto it still sore, I really hope my period comes naturally. Fingers crossed!

Did you ever ovulate on your own? I used to get just 2-3 periods a year on my own and the clomid really wasn't very helpful only had a few ovulatory cycles. X

:hi: KatCrazy

I too only ever have a few periods a year and i never do ovulate on my own. :( the FS did mention putting me on clomid, so i'm waiting for the follow up appoinment. It's strange because i already have 6 yr old and i feel pregnant straight away after coming of the pill so it's pretty annoying.!!! What will happen now that the clomid didn't work for you? have you had a date for your follow up app yet? Yes FX'd for us that our periods do come naturally:)
