2014 Bargain Thread!

Oh I just remembered I went to sainsburys today and they had the little mermaid little people coach for £12.50, the Aladdin little people magic carpet for £7.50 and also the princess little people two packs for £3.50! They had beauty & the beast, Ariel & Aurora and the wedding version of Cinderella and Prince Charming. Couldn't resist at that price and bought my DD one of each xx

i went to tesco today for the first time in about
5 years in hopes of finding all these stupidly priced
clearance items people keep posting on HUKD

they had nothing, literally nothing



they do however have a fantastic vegetarian range
went to buy awesome bargains and came back with
half their freezer stuff, not entirely wasted but i wanted
a shed load of 6p chocolate bars and 50p dvds

Me too, I was hoping for the £40 42" tele or the £2.50 portable dvd player. But absolutely nothing!

glad it's not just mine, it's a freaking HUGE
store aswell, i've never seen a supermarket with such
a big makeup department, there were beauticians there
and everything, it was like stepping into debenhams



yeah i had my eye on a new mp3 player for £1 too
but alas there was sod all

I read on HUKD that the reason you won't find anything at Tesco is because all the staff are buying it or putting it aside to buy it.

wouldn't surprise me, some have said they've found
items literally buried behind others where staff have blatently
hid them to buy when they finish work that day

Unfortunately it happens everywhere. It's definitely not allowed to happen but I think a lot of the managers just turn a blind eye.

If you can keep checking tesco,they are putting more stock out (DVDs)
I sent my oh on Sunday and there was NOTHING there and he popped there late last night and managed to get 3 Bly rays (not sure on price) and 2 Moshi monster ds games for £1.25 each

Looks like someone broke h&m again! Just gone on to order a few pairs of PJs for the lo with the £5 off code and it says shop closed!

The code ends today I think too, so annoyed.

I just managed to place an order so might be working again? I'm using the mobile site on my iphone if that makes a difference? xx

Just tried looking around tescos and they didn't have any of the DVDs I've seen mentioned on a few other sites although I did find disneys dinosaurs on DVD for £1 but it was already labeled at that price. They also had all the annuals for £1 xx

So glad that I went to sainsburys today, got loads of little people princess stuff half price-thanks to the person who posted about it. Got aerials carriage for £12.50, aladdins carpet and cruella's car for £7.50 and 3 packs of duo figures at £3.75! That's my little girl nearly done once I get the palace cheap!
They had lots of other great reductions too, got some TMNT Lego half price and a few other pre school toys half price! They also had a little tikes activity garden from £39.99 down to £12!

For those of you getting the snapfish cards offer for future bdays etc what way are you doing it? I'm just thinking will it look silly if I did birthday thank yous for later in the later but use photos of her now IYsWIM

Oh and my bargain peppa pig jewellery sets from Claire's came yesterday. They look great, and I'm really impressed with the fast delivery.

Got absolutely nothing in tesco either, but not too disappointed as i only really wanted the monsters inc and tangled blu rays. It's going to hurt having to buy them for proper money soon though!
