I hope they can do something for you, rather than end the pregnancy.
Oh, and can't you just drink lots, because if I am not mistaken, the water renews constantly so the baby has fresh water... There must be something they can do??? You are in my thoughts.
Just wanted to let you know sweetie that you have been in my thoughts constantly since reading this thread. I also just wanted to say that we're all here for you no matter what the outcome babe, you have to do what is right for you and your baby.
I hope you have managed to speak to someone that has been gentle and true and told you the full picture with all options babe. They're doctors hun, not God, and as such sometimes they get it wrong........do what your head and heart is telling you to do, but make sure you come back to us for lots of the hugest squidgiest hugs that only BnB ladies can provide sweets.
As I said I'm here anytime hun, feel free if you want to pm me.
I'd definately get a second opinion. If the baby is healthy at the moment, they shouldn't really be opting to terminate...I'm sure there's something else they can do.
Shouldn't they only push that if the baby is suffering, rather than 'you must do this INCASE this happens'?? I dunno, I just think it sounds a bit odd.
I think thats bull... I hope you got a second opinion. You are only weeks away from when a baby is "viable" NO that does not always mean the baby will make it and having a preemie is very tough. But I think having the baby stay in the hospital for a few months is better than them telling you you have to terminate a healthy baby. At least if you get to carry on with your prengnancy you are giving your baby a chance at life.
I hope you are doing OK and I hope you made the choice which YOU feel is best. please let us know how it turned out.
