Yes it's good that there are a few of us! I was on another forum and a lady there suggested I try OPKs which I hadn't planned on so soon, but think now that it might be worth it, so am going to the supermarket this morning to see what they have!
I'm qualified to teach 3yr old through to 16/ 18 depending in the subjects, but my class is full of 3 and 4 yr olds- they're little beauties- we have so much fun! M

Piper- WOW your seeing a specialist so soon? That is crazy. I have just never heard of that. And unfortunately I don’t have ANY patience but with this there is no other option. It drives me crazy! My hormone levels are a little low, so I get a regular AF but i don’t have enough to mature a follicle to ovulate on my own. So I'm a perfect fit for clomid which is good bc over half of the women who take clomid aren’t really taking it bc it suites them completely, they take it bc it is a doctors Go to drug/ First stop on the train kind of thing. 1st round of clomid and I O'd!!! we were so happy but it was just a little late but this month I’m pretty sure I’m going to O when i need to. So we are pretty hopeful. I hope neither of you ladies have to wait as long as I have but in reality there are women out there that have been waiting a lot longer than I, so I can’t complain at this point really.

Ruthin- If you want to seriously try then i would use OKP's but if you want to actively try but still kinda let things happen when they are "suppose" to, I wouldn’t worry to much about it at this point. It just kinda depends on how serious you are about getting pregnant NOW

I am excited! because i feel like it is going to be nothing but good news unlike the others. I will def. let you guys know whats going on as soon as i get home. It isnt until 3pm Mountain time so it will be later in the day. AND!! a it will be a short day at work on a friday, gotta love that.

How are you doing? Do you use OKP's? Mine this morning was darker than yesterday...yay yay yay

What cycle day are you on?? I dont know much about IVF what exactly is it?

IVF is when they stimulate your ovaries with injection medication and then they go in and retrieve the eggs then fertilize them in the lab. After they're fertilized in the lab they let them grow for either 3 or 5 days and then put them back in the uterus. It's a long process, I started on CD 21 ... so I'm CD 25 today and I'll be on lupron (it suppresses your ovaries, pretty much puts you in menopause) and then when I get my period I'll start my other 2 medications on CD 3 just like when you're on clomid. I'll be on those for about 12 days and then go in for the egg retrieval. Sorry if I confused you! It's quite a long process but I've already done 6 IUI's so this was the next step.

WOW girl! that is intense. This has diffently been a long journey for you. So you just wait to see if the egg sticks? What are percentages like for conceiving??

Yeah I wait a week after they put the embryo in. My doctor gave us a 60% chance of success.

I somehow missed half of the thread! I hope its good news for you tomorrow! So you had a regular cycle but found out you weren't ovulating? How long were you TTC before seeing a fertility specialist? I can only imagine how disheartening it must have been when you found out all those month of trying were for nothing. I'm afraid I will have the same issue.
I DO use OPK! Not sure if you were asking me... But yes. I also use CBFM and Preseed.

It took a little bit to set in. We starting seeing our specialist after trying for a year. Bc we were so young no one would give us a req. until then. You said you do use OKP's, Do you get positives?

Hii everyone Am 25 y/o and DH is 25 y/o as well. We have been TTC#1 for 1 yr and 4 mos now. Right after our wedding, DH and I are pretty sure we conceived but had a very early mc I am currently on prenatal vitamins and metformin for my PCOS. This month is the 2nd month I actually tried clomid and the 1st month we did the trigger shot with Ovidrel. It's been about 3dpt and 1dpo so i'm now in the 2ww. Agghhh! This waiting game is sooo hard!! I am also looking to a Christmas announcement which I think would be so awesome!

Today is the appointment! Sending good vibes.

I DO get positives. Last cycle I got 2 days of positives and the cycle before + lasted about 12 hours. Now I use the clear blue monitor and I went from low to peak. Not sure what that means... I think it has something to do with the machine not detecting an estrogen surge before the LH surge. I guess I have no reason to think I don't ovulate!

I've added softcups to my repeteur this month. So far I LOVE them, even if they do not help with TTC I will continue using them. No errrmmm... Drippage. I always hated that part of TTC!

I have been hearing about softcups. I think i'm going to look into them.

My apt. didn’t go as planned, of course who was i kidding. I did have a follie on each side which i good but they still weren’t that big. They are 15 and 16. My doctor said that i'm going to ovulate to late this month again. I got another prescription of clomid and up'ed my amount to 100mg. She said that me having all the SE that i am is a good sign though. She thinks 100mg will be a better. I hope so. I was pretty bummed out on Friday but i got over it and i just want to start the new cycle. AF isn’t due until the 28th. so i have a while to wait. Oh well what can ya do. How was everyone’s weekend?

I'm so sorry about the news. It sounds like next month you will be in the running though. It's weird when you can't wait for AF, huh? Usually it's the other way around. Haha. I'm sending buckets of babydust.
