27+1 in hospital

So as the title says I'm 27+1 and I'm in the hospital.

I've been having pains all day. I had my blood taken and swab and fibronectin test. My urine showed up leukocytes 3+. I'm on augmentin antibiotics already and finish them tomorrow for as uti. So my urine should be clear

I was given the steroid injections so hopefully all will be ok and its just an irritable uterus. Anyone else been in the same situation.

The fibronectin test came back positive so a 50% chance I'll go into early labour in the next 7 days. Hopefully, I'll be the other 50%. I got an ambulance transfer with a midwife to another hospital.

A lot of things can make those Fibronectin tests show up positive (sex, cervical checks, etc.) so you still have a good chance of not going into preterm labor. I have an Irritable Uterus so I have real contractions throughout most of my pregnancy, but my babies have all been born 35+ weeks, so try not to worry. There's a lot they can do nowadays to keep baby cooking.
