3 day Lh Surge...what does it mean?

Hi everyone,

At the beginning of August I had a 3 day Lh surge...has anyone had that before or know what it means? I tested on a clear blue digi test and had the smiley face for 3 days...I thought lh surges were only meant to be the day before ov? What do you think it means, if anything?

I've been pregnant with twins before which ended in miscarriage, does a long lh surge mean lots of eggs being released? I'm 34...
