3 years on...!!

Nver thought I would be joining here but been trying a little over 3 years with no luck never been pregnant tried clomid no luck hoping its not much longer hope u ladies are keeping well..!!any tips or what you would recommend??tia xx

What other tests have you had done? Day 3 and 21 testing? HSG to make sure your tubes are clear? Are they monitoring you while you're on clomid?

Yeah had then bloods done. No I wasn't monitored while on clomid which was a downfall started taking foil acid and evening primrose oil today..!!had an ultrasound a small cyst was found but had went

You might want to ask about the HSG. If your tubes aren't clear then then the rest isn't going to work!

No. The only way for them to tell if your tubes are clear is by an HSG. They will run a catheter through your cervix and fill your uterus up with dye while you are under an xray machine. If your tubes are clear, the dye will spill out of them.

Usually a RE will require that you have this done before you do any sort of clomid or other ovarian stimulation because it will be a waste of time and money if it turns out your tubes aren't clear.

Yeah I found it weird why I wasn't monitored or that the hsg didn't take place beforehand however I will be in contact with them tomorrow

A lot depends where you are. I was monitored on Clomid but had my HSG whilst waiting for injectables.

Hello, I am aware that I don't really belong here anymore but I just like to look back at the ltttc threads to see if I can offer any support. I also ttc for 3 years and had no bfp and no reason for it. I understand the dissappointment every month and I was so depressed in the end that it got to Christmas 2011 and I made it my new year's resolution to get my body ready to carry a baby. I went to Boots and bought 3 for 2 on Pregnacare Conception vitamins and started then the same night, and knock me down, I was pregnant in February! I genuinely believe that they helped me, as I'd been on folic acid for 3 years and had no luck but after 1 month of Pregnacare I got my bfp. It may have been pure coincidence, but surely it's worth a try... Wishing you all the best of luck and lots of baby dust coming your way

Hi just wanted to post in hear as I too was ttc for many years, like one of the ladies said ask for a hsg test. I had mine in feb 2012, it showed both tubes were blocked, I had a laparoscopy in march and by may I got my first ever bbf, sadly I miscarried but I'm now 17 weeks pregnant and would not be here if I'd not had my lap, and it only partially unblocked one tube! It's a long road but believe me its worth it x good luck x
