33,000 hcg levels at 4 weeks.. confused

Ladies I just got a call from OB saying at about 20-23dpo my hcg was 33,000. Isn't that high? Could it be multiples? I'm so confused and scared.

You're not 4 weeks pregnant with HCG that high. Twins dont double your HCG levels. Any level above 22000 means there will be a visible embryo with a heartbeat. Either the test was wrong or you're further along.

It is high, but it doesn't necessarily mean multiples. Are you sure you are 4 weeks? Mine, at 4 weeks, was just over 18,000 and I thought that was high, but not nearly as high as yours. At the time my OB said hcg can vary widely and in his 30 years he's seen it all over the place. GL

I only DTD on the 7 and 13 this month. None in may. I had labs drawn last Wednesday. How far could I possibly be?

You just said you had bloods drawn at 20-23 dpo, that's 5 weeks.

Looking at my Results it says 33.650 miu. How did the nurse confuse that with 33,000? So 33.650 put me where I knew I was at 11dpo at that time. I'm only at 17dpo. Thank God I figured it out because the nurse made it seem like I was farther along with a 33,000 result. *wipes forehead*
