33 1/2, ttc #1.

Hey there! I'll be 33 later this month and I'm also TTC#1!! DH and I have been trying for 5 months without success, but I'm slowly learning more and more about tracking my fertility. I currently track my periods on an app, but I haven't started temping. I plan to start next month (if I'm not pregnant). I'm currently in the TWW, and I'm keeping hope alive that this month will be THE month!

Hi Mango!

Good luck with your TWW- a BFP would be a great birthday present. :) :happydance:

Welcome Mango! Glad to have you!

So, even though I've been pretty certain of ovulation this month, I have had a little bit of ewcm still on the last two days. When I entered that into my FF app it changed my crosshairs to dashed. Weird. Do you ladies ever get ewcm after O? Today my temp stayed the same as yesterday. I wish hub and I had bd yesterday for insurance. I think we should keep going just in case, but I'm afraid my hub is coming down with my cold from last week! I hope not, because I felt awful.

I still feel lots of rumblings in my abdomen. And my nipples are a tad sore. I'm imagining a little factory down there working to ready my uterus for an egg! Maybe I'm losing my mind. :) Mango you'll soon learn that nothing is TMI here.

:dust: for you, imphope!

I'm spotting pink now, so if AF doesn't come tonight, it'll be tomorrow.

...I am having such a hard time today. I'm just crying all of the time and I can't stop it. I wrote in my TTC journal, made a list of all the reasons that I'm glad that this month didn't work because of the new job, moving to a new state without DH, etc., and nothing is getting me out of this funk. My boss is trying to talk me into finding God because it'll help me deal with this disappointment, which is nice that she cares about me, but even if I weren't an atheist, now isn't exactly the time to tell me that the big guy is on my side. I know that I'm tougher than this, and my heart is not agreeing with me at the moment, and insists on being a baby about it.

Whew. Hormones. Hormones are awful, and make rational human beings into sobbing messes with absolutely no control.

Hey ladies! Welcome to the newcomers!

The :witch: arrived in the wee hours of the morning. Not happy. I got my progesterone results from last week. Also not happy. here's what my Dr wrote:

Here are your serial levels for your review. They total > 10 (but just barely) and therefore is considered normal.
CD 19 - 6.91
CD 21 - 3.06
CD 23 - 2.64

So I told her that I ovulated early, on CD 11 (I'm usually 13). This was her reply:

If you ovulated early then we were seeing the progesterone levels falling during your lab days on CD #19, 21, and 23.
Your progesterone levels were likely the highest on CD #16, 18, and 20..
I would then take your results as a good sign. There is no set desired level for luteal phase progesterones. The higher the better which means that the ovarian cyst where the egg was released is making enough progesterone to support a pregnancy until the placenta takes over. A 15 day luteal phase is completely normal and am happy to hear that you had no spotting this month.

She said we could discuss clomid and letrozole with iui or she can arrange a consultation with the infertility specialist. I asked for the consultation. I want more info before I do drugs. Let's hope they have a female dr!

:hugs: Button. Sorry about AF. FX for a BFP soon for you!

Your doc sounds optimistic, so that sounds like a good sign. Has your DH had a SA? Or is that something that the fertility specialist would be involved in? I'm still fairly ignorant about the medical side of it, since we're not at the one-year mark yet. (Even if I wanted to start seeing a doctor and get started early, I couldn't, since everything is changing with my medical coverage starting June 1.)

Button and Lesli, I am sorry AF showed up for you this month :(

Button, I am glad you can get a consultation. Honestly I hate the thought of going to the RE in May but I am so glad I have an appointment. I am tired of wasting each month since I want to be pregnant this minute. I am ready to get more information and answers...my OB just isn't prepared to do everything it takes to get me pregnant. After I got my P labs back at 7, I did a lot of reading...you really want to closer to 10. I am thinking of ordering some progesterone cream to try during the tww this month.

Welcome Mango! It is nice to have a group of girls that are the same age to chat with!

Imphope, I never get ewcm! I noticed you had ewcm before O too. I think FF does the dotted crosshairs because you put in conflicting information. It sees your + opk and thermal shift so it knows you O 4 days ago but it gets confused by the ewcm after ovulation.

Nothing new here...patiently waiting for a + opk!

Hey ladies! To answer mrshan, yes my OH has had a SA, I think that was back in Aug. It was fairly normal. The IS may want him to do a new one. I have had all kinds of blood work, plus a hysterosalpingogram (hsg) which was normal. I had a laparoscopy, endo was found and removed, cyst inside my ovary was removed, a hysteroscopy was also performed and everything inside was normal. There isn't much left but I'm sure the IS will have some more tests.

We are already beyond the 1 yr mark for ntnp, and june 4th will make 1 yr of actively ttc. We are ready to take the next step and do what ever meds or tests we need to do to get this done. I'm glad I have you ladies or else I would go crazy!

I started feeling better yesterday about the whole CD1 thing. With starting a new job, moving, and trying to buy a new house, it would just be chaos to add in being preggers.

On a side note, DH had two job interviews today, so FX that at least one of them will offer him a job. I'm pretty optimistic. From what I overheard from the first phone interview, it went well. :happydance:

button, I have the exact same thoughts. I am ready to move on and finally be pregnant for 9 months. I am ready to be a mom. I am so thankful for you girls here, it is nice to talk with woman that are my age!

mrshan, good luck to your hubby!! Keep us posted, my fx'd that he get a job!

I am super excited...I got a + opk this morning! Totally wasn't expecting a + this soon since it is only CD15 and the last two cycles I didn't O until CD20. I am hoping since my O day seems to have moved up in my cycle that my LP is long enough to get and keep a sticky bfp! I have had some low abdominal cramping this morning and all day yesterday so I am hoping that means I am gearing up. :)

Yay Savvy!!! I'm so excited for you- I hope this will be your month!

Loads and loads of sticky babydust!

:dust::dust::dust::dust::dust::dust:

Ladies, how are we feeling? Sorry the :witch: showed up!

Are you better now Mrshan? I've had a day & half of misery. It's our hormones :grr:

Savvy.. I hope you're keeping patient. Fingers crossed for all of you!

I hope everyone who celebrates Easter had a good one! :bunny:

Life is sweeping me along. We met up with our realtor on Saturday and looked at 6 houses, two of which we love. It's scary looking for prospective houses and their prospective nurseries when we're still a little unsure that we'll ever have a baby.

My DH's first phone interview last week went really well, and he got the call to schedule his in-person interview next Thursday, so he may not be far behind me in the move. Yay! :happydance:

All in all, we're not going to stop TTC, but it would be really great if we could hold off on getting pregnant until this fall. We'll obviously take a baby whenever we can get one, because as DH says, babies happen when they happen, but it would be nice if the timing is perfect, right?

I hope everyone else is doing well! Hugs and babydust. :)

Not a good weekend, my Grandfather is terribly sick and in the isolated ICU. My mom is also very sick and Easter dinner was cancelled. My trip this coming weekend is now cancelled. I think I O'd yesterday but with all that is going on I am basically counting myself out this month. Very bummed right now.

Lesli, so glad your hubby gets another interview, that is great news. Keeping my fx'd he gets to move with you soon. Good luck with the house hunt! I am working on designing a home, we might be able to finally build our dream home if everything works out. I started thinking what I want now, 5 - 10 years from now and 20+ years from now. I think taking the future into consideration helped me with some decisions.

Kits, I am sorry you were feeling down, but hopefully you are looking forward to O and the tww!

Sorry about your crappy weekend, Savvy. :hugs:

Imphope, how are you doing, girl? I stalk your chart every couple days, and your temps are looking so good!

How is everyone else? :)

Where did everyone go? Hope to hear from everyone soon.

Thanks Lesli, my Grandpa is still very sick but at least he is alert and talking. We will see how he does in the next few days.

I think I might have ovulated on Sunday but today I am getting a lot of cramping on the right side...not sure what is going on. With my situation right now I am not counting on anything. I have my RE appointment in two weeks.

Hi friends! We were traveling for Easter and we just got back late last night. I'm an idiot and forgot my suitcase there so right now we are driving halfway back and the Inlaws are meeting us. Oops.

I think our cats missed us and so decided to keep me up all night. I think that messed up my temps but maybe they went up on their own too? I guess I will know in a week. I d

I think our cats missed us and so decided to keep me up all night. I think that messed up my temps but maybe they went up on their own too? I guess I will know in a week. Only symptom I feel is a teeny bit sensitive in the nipple area. Ha. Still so weird to type that. In other news we put an offer on a house today! Haven't heard anything yet. I hope they accept!

Savvy I hope your grandfather is better soon and you get to spend some time with him.

Hope you had a good Easter imphope! Hopefully it isn't a far drive to get your suitcase. I will keep my fx'd that your offer gets accepted, let us know! :)

Your chart is looking good, it might have slightly effected your temp but having one temp that isn't accurate isn't bad. Hopefully you can sleep good tonight and get an accurate reading tomorrow. With the temp changes in our house I find myself really warm when I go to bed and freezing when I wake up uncovered.

Thanks, my Grandpa is doing a bit better. He was alert and talking this afternoon, but still has a bunch of health issues stacking up. Every time one of my Grandparents goes into the hospital, it is like taking steps backwards since they always decline health wise. I am not sure what will happen or if he will even be able to come home, too scared to ask or even think about that right now.

Hey ladies. ...

I'm still around lurking.

Lesli so excited for you. So many new things happening. Hope your hubby gets the job!

Savvy, I'm really sorry to hear about your family.

Button, I'm on your coat tail with the procedures.

Been so busy lately. And our servers keep going down. Ugh.
