Hi.
Just looking for a bit of advice if anyone can help. My twin are in seperate sacs with their own placenta.
Twin one has low fluid. It was at normal levels right up Until 32 weeks. When they measured it at 2.5cm then measured are 2.2cm and today measuring at 5.3. The report says its still low at 5.3 as there is only one pocket of fluid where as twin twos fluid is measuring the same but he has three pockets.
The sonographer also mentioned that the membrane around twin one is hugging her. When I asked if he could explain he said the membrane is is right up close to her as in hugging her body. This could potentially restrict her growth. Which they have also noted on the 32 weeks scan that her growth and weight, although in normal range is on the small size.
I am also being monitored as twin one is having reduced movements.
All other checks e.g heart rate, placenta, major organs etc are all ok.
What I'm wanting to know is
1-the membrane that is hugging her is this a major problem?
2- if fluid keeps increasing will the membrane become bigger so it won't be hugging her as much?
3- the "pockets" of fluid they measure why as twin one only got one? Is this a potential problem?
4- is it the fluid that could be slowing twin ones growth down with it being or because the sac is so tight round twin one?
Thanks for any advice/info give x
