35+4 baby measured 32 weeks on growth scan

Little Steph, you and I had our babies days apart last time and they both suffered IUGR.
I was made to 'wait it out' with my daughter and was induced at 37 weeks - she weighed 5lb 4 and was on the 0.4% centile so way below the bottom line, she was small but was really healthy because of the extra couple of weeks. suggested that maybe I just have teeney babies (I'm not so sure as I'm almost 6ft lol) but this could just be the reason.

I know it's scary - I convinced myself of the worst & at one point I was in daily for CT scans but the doctors know what they are doing and they do monitor you really closely.

Did they find a cause for your IUGR? They didn't with mine - they
I'm pregnant again now as well and really hope I don't go through the same thing again but it seems quite common to happen twice.

Good luck & please keep us updated xxxx

I was told my placenta had stopped working, and that he was small because I am.
I've had 5 scans to make sure baby is growing ok, at my last scan they were happy with his growth as he is following the same line as the scan before that. they've said he is small but it's too be expected because I am, and that I am one of those people who have small babies.

congrats on your pregnancy, hope it goes well for you xx

Thank you, it's such a worrying time!!
Last time I had 6 scans & was at the hospital daily for ct scans before they decided to induce me & the only reason they did was because my fluid dropped worrying low. My dd barely grew between scans either.
As long as there is growth and they are monitoring you carefully you will be fine.

It's so exciting thinking you will meet your baby soon - good luck and please keep us updated xxx

It is a worry, I was always worried that it would happen again.
I even tried eating more this time round, yet I've put on less weight.
when I had my son I had gained 15lbs 16 at the most. this time I am at 12lbs weight gain 13 at the most.

make sure your listened too. if it wasn't for me telling my consultant how worried I was about baby's growth I wouldn't have had my last 2 scans.

less then 2 weeks and i'll get to hold him, was in hospital Friday with contractions though and the midwife there doesn't think i'll make it to my section date. but we'll see xxx

Little Steph, will you still have a section if u go into labour? I no I shouldn't google but I can't help it?! Also with my daughter I ended up having failed ventouse so episiotomy an forceps delivery, I had taken pethadine an epidural so was away with the fairies I think! This was after contracting at home since about 9am sat I finally went to hospital around 2am Monday! Sge was born at 1226pm on the Monday! So I was shattered, despite all these things I loved labour I'm unsure if its coz I waited so long for her to come, after 4 losses an few years ttc, or the drugs but I tell everyone I loved labour!! Basically I'm now worried its not going to b the same an I should push for c section! So confused!!! X

it's on my notes that if I go into labour before to let me at least try for VBAC.
it's a scary thought because the small age gap, but with all the BH and contractions I think my body might be able to do a better job of labour this time round x

Well I had my scan baby small but still showing growth so all good, I have a planned induction for 39+6! An he wants me to have a sweep at 38 weeks an 39weeks! The joys! I did have a trace of protein in my urine an leu+++ so he's sent that off for analysis also my blood pressure was 132/65 which is high for me its normslly 100-110/60 so he wants me to get that done in 2 days aswell! Anyone no what this means I no its preeclampsia that he's obviously worried about but what acout leaking waters or anything? X

No idea what leu is
trace of protein is usually nothing. I've had it for a few weeks now. my BP is also higher then my usual. My is normal low. but they are not worried, because it's not high.
I think your blood pressure is still in the normal range. the top number might be what your doctor is concerned about as it sounds the higher end of normal. bottom number is fine.
glad baby is showing growth.
Hope the sweep works for you
