Little Steph, you and I had our babies days apart last time and they both suffered IUGR.
I was made to 'wait it out' with my daughter and was induced at 37 weeks - she weighed 5lb 4 and was on the 0.4% centile so way below the bottom line, she was small but was really healthy because of the extra couple of weeks. suggested that maybe I just have teeney babies (I'm not so sure as I'm almost 6ft lol) but this could just be the reason.
I know it's scary - I convinced myself of the worst & at one point I was in daily for CT scans but the doctors know what they are doing and they do monitor you really closely.
Did they find a cause for your IUGR? They didn't with mine - they
I'm pregnant again now as well and really hope I don't go through the same thing again but it seems quite common to happen twice.
Good luck & please keep us updated xxxx
I was told my placenta had stopped working, and that he was small because I am.
I've had 5 scans to make sure baby is growing ok, at my last scan they were happy with his growth as he is following the same line as the scan before that. they've said he is small but it's too be expected because I am, and that I am one of those people who have small babies.
congrats on your pregnancy, hope it goes well for you xx
Thank you, it's such a worrying time!!
Last time I had 6 scans & was at the hospital daily for ct scans before they decided to induce me & the only reason they did was because my fluid dropped worrying low. My dd barely grew between scans either.
As long as there is growth and they are monitoring you carefully you will be fine.
It's so exciting thinking you will meet your baby soon - good luck and please keep us updated xxx
