Hi,
I'm 36 and have been ttc for almost two years. My husband and I had tests done and the doctor concluded it is unexplained infertility. He had suggested IUI back in June 2010 but we wanted to try it naturally until the end of 2010. We did get pregnant in July 2010 and we were ecstatic! Unfortunately, it ended in a miscarriage at 11 weeks. It was devastating. We have been ttc again since the miscarriage. We've been unsuccessful. I'm getting frustrated. I am at DPO 12 and my temp is going down. I don't think it is a + this cycle. Oh well! It's so hard!

Anyone like me and finally got another bpf?

Im 35 and been ttc for 2 years - got our first bfp in april after hsg and then mmc, got second bfp in Sept (on clomid) but again mmc so at the moment were WTT (except we thought I wasnt ov this month so we were having a lovely time and now Ive ov'd late and ff reckons we're in with a chance!)

fingers crossed it'll happen again for you and that you'll have a happy and healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby, I have a few friends over 35 who have mc and then gone on within a year to have a sucessful pregnancy x

Im 39 and mum to a 12 week old gorgeous baby boy. I ttc for 1 year, fell pregnant July 2009 and miscarried 8 weeks later. I then fell pregnant 3 months later and had my LO Sept 2010. It is possible, so dont give up hope.x

Hi all! Nice to read hopeful threads like this! We are all in it to hope one day we get a lovely bouncing baby! Lovely story haggle-b and rowan thanks for the info on some people over 35 having one mc then going on to have a successful pregnancy. All types of options are there eh!
Good luck Reina - it hurts losing your first. we lost ours in August and we are still ttc but feeling more positive now a few months later, as it did affect me emotionally & lots more than I admitted to myself at the time. all the best, and take your time to heal emotionally and physically. We are hoping for a bfp - I know its not quite the same but I hear ya! xxxx

My story is similar. TTC'd naturally & unsuccessfully for nearly 4 years. After 2 failed clomid cycles, I added IUI, and saw my first BFP. That ended in MC in Aug 2010. The first month we were able to try again, I did the same clomid + IUI protocol and it worked again. Unfortunately it ended in a second MC just a few weeks ago.

I think I will try again, even though it seems my egg quality must be diminishing. I will at least do clomid + IUI, which seems to be the only way I can get pregnant. I'm going to talk to my doctor about IVF, too. Maybe that can help select better eggs. I'm 37 now, so pulling out all the stops.

Good luck, everyone.

so sorry for all your losses :hugs:

I've just turned 41 and we have been TTC our first since April 10. I was pregnant in Sept 09 but suffered a MMC in Dec 09 just before my 40th. It's hard but we'll keep trying. I got a very faint BFP in Oct but AF arrived 5 days late. I had been taking Ibruprofen for a really bad toothache tho so I'm thinking this wouldn't have helped. We have an appointment with the fertility specialist on 26th Jan so hopefully this year will be our year. x

I know what you mean about eggs lola - I do worry about mine with being over 35 and having pcos - I wonder about ivf picking the best eggs but think Im probs not in the criteria for having ivf as not trying for 3 years yet

good luck everyone x
