37+5 weeks, 3 cm dilated, and 80% effaced!

Had another appointment today to check if I had any protein in my urine because my BP spiked earlier this week. I didn't! If I had she was going to induce me today. But I'm 3cm and 80% effaced! I'm hoping this is a good sign. I've been having more and more BH and some mild period like cramping. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and hoping this baby is born before the end of the weekend! Anybody go into labor shortly after this?

It's always a good sign to have progress, but I have to say I was 3cm dialated with my first and mostly effaced for almost three weeks. That doesn't mean you will be, however! Hope all goes well!
