3rd time lucky!!!

I found out this morning that I'm pregnant again, exactly 4 weeks after my lst M/C. My doc did say that we was suppose to wait 1 cycle but the consultant at the hospital said they only ask you to do that for dating reasons.

I'm sooo nervous, I feel slightly excited but I wont believe its real until I see our bubba!

Do you think I should see my doctor straight away, as Ive had 2 m/c in 4 months? Will the moniter me more this time?xx

congrats whooo!!!

yeah they only ask for dating purposes( i was the same i was only 2 days out though )

yeah tell your doctor asap they will monitor you and give you early scans (hopefully)

you should demand an early scan just to see it

Congrats!!! I also had 2 MCs in 4 months then got prego again.....and im now at 14 weeks and all good so far (touch wood) See your doc when you can, I waited til 6 weeks then request an early scan...I got one at 7 weeks, i wanted it no earlier, so i knew I would see something. They dont monitor you more, but are defo more open to early scans!!

I know I should see my doctor but I'm too scared! I just wanna pretend I'm not pregnant and forget about all my worries. I think I'll leave it until 6-7 weeks, I just wanna see if I get that far first!x

Hi Sassy!
I'm also hoping for third time lucky. It took us 13 cycles to conceive, but we lost our little boy at 22 weeks. Then I had a chemical 2 cycles into TTC again and I'm now pregnant (6 weeks) straight after that.

It would be good if we could continue our 3rd time lucky thread, keep it going for at least another 36 weeks!!

Im so happy for you Sassy! Third time better be lucky for all of us, Im back in here with you missy! I was all ready to go for a 6 week scan last time, my docs just do it as a general rule, call it viablilty and to check out your not ectopic, Ive still got the paper work because I never used it! Just tell them what you want, whatever makes it that little bit easier for you cannot hurt one bit!

I'm 5 weeks pregnant today with my third pregnancy. Had a silent miscarrige at 8 weeks in May 2009 and another at 5 weeks in November 2009 SO chuffed I've conceived quickly after my miscarriage in November but can't help panicking over the slightest twinge! Finding it hard to think positively because I don't want to get my hopes up just to miscarry again. My doctor isn't very supportive and just keeps telling me it's quite common to miscarry twice in a row and the local midwife only contacts you at 11 weeks to book you in (over the phone!) for your 12 weeks scan!!!! Asked for early scan but they said they would only send me if I was bleeding or having really bad cramps!
Trying to take each day as it comes but finding it extra hard because my sister is having twins in 6 weeks!!!! Does anyone have any tips for getting through the next few weeks?
