3years ttc is approaching

Hi ladies just thought I'd see if there is anyone else approaching the 3 year mark and wanted to share there story whether positive or not. I'm 29 been trying since feb since 2009 pretty much, had a break for 6months due to OH health all ok, unexplained infertility nowt wrong just for some reason it won't happen. Been trying to. Loose weight lost a sne and fertility nurse feels this could be the route of why I'm finding it hard to concieve. So joined a gym and just seeing if this helps plus bmi needs to be under 30 ideally 25 for a successful IVF treatment. Just feel quite tired of it all everyone around me friends and family all see to be having babies. Plus my partner has two from previous relationship and they are relatively young so it's a constant reminder, just never gets and bloody easier. X)

I'm only at 18 months TTC. I already feel like I'm loosing my mind. I just finished my 6th round of Clomid and if this doesn't work, I'm not sure what I should do next. My OBGYN said she would refer me to a Dr. that is a 2hr drive away (there are no other fertility specialist closer). So, my DH and I have to find a way to pay for a specialist if needed. Our insurance doesn't cover infertility at all. Hope you get that BFP VERY VERY soon!

Hi Zekeyboo11 i'm appraching my 3 year mark too. My story is similar to yours we are unexplained fertility started trying when I was 29. Intial fertility test showed I had high levels of prolactin was prescribed prolactin for this levels seen to be steady since taking this. Doctors also said I need to loose weight been doing slimming world and exercise but my weight lose has been slow lost over a stone still need to lose a stone and half. Had 6 months of clomid last which resulted in BFN. Just had my 1st IUI this month which also resulted in a BFN. Booked another for april if it doesn't work think of trying few months of natural cycles. I'm finding it hard when relatives have babies I'm happy for them but avoid going to any celebrations as its too hard especially when everyone keeps saying when are you having a baby or its your turn next really irritating.

it makes me so mad when all i hear is that " my doctor told me to lose weight" what about all the over 300 pound woman who get pregnant like it aint nothing. im at the 5 year mark and just relaxing doesnt help. if you are stressed out thats going to not help with trying to lose weight. we all know that wanting a baby for all of us is always there no matter what. we are a strong group of women we may not show it all the time but thats why we have BNB atleast here we wont be judged or be called selfish. infertility is hard for someone who has kids to understand. its even harder when every woman you know has atleast one or is pregnant. then we are stuck asking that question "WHY" i have a journal that i write in and it helps from time to time im not a religious person but here is a prayer that you can say when you feel you need to. it to is also written in my journal.

You know my deep desire for a child. A little one to love and to hold, to care for,and to cherish. Grant that my body may conceive and give birth to a beautiful, healthy baby in your holy image.

Guide me in all of my choices so that this conception, my pregnancy, and my baby's birth are all in line with your will.

Yeah sometimes you have to take a step back and try and not think about it there are times when I don't even feel like having sex because I feel like I'm only doing it for one reason and that's to get pregnant and it can become such a chore. I've recently just found out that my younger bro girlfriend is now pregnant and well that knocked me for six its very unfair, I don't drink, smoke take drugs just abit over weight but for the life of me I can't concieve.

I ya I've just realised we spoke before, your on my friends list. I haven't been pescribed comid or anything they won't give me nothing, can't get no bloody help on te nhs either I've gotta pay for it all cause my partner has kids.

Hi yeah I agree it frustrating that bigger women get Pregnant but some people the weight issue doesn't effect some people but others it does. My mom had issues ttc after having me because she put weight but lost it and caught straight away so that's all I have to go on. It can't help trying to shift some weight.

I'm over 4 years now and I'm 40 this year. It is sooooo hard sometime isn't it BUT if it's a baby you want you've got to keep going til you get one!
