4 Year Old Boy

So far for my 4 year old boy I have got:

Big box of lego and lego ideas book (probably his Santa present)
Lego 3 in 1 digger
Lego 3 in 1 train
Lego city brickmaster book
Lego city emergency vehicles
Robo fish (a clown fish to keep his red shark company)

Still to get:
Books (probably Octonauts)
Lego movie
A game (either pop-up pirate, or the Orchard rocket game)
Imaginext Superman set
Octonauts Tweak's Octomax Suit
Stocking fillers
Main present still in discussion with hubby - I think tablet (like the look of the Kurio) but hubby is reluctant and doesn't have any better ideas!

My parents have got him a radio controlled car from ELC

He also wants the Octonauts Gup X, but it seems almost impossible to get, have seen them for over £100 on eBay for a boxed one, even second hand ones in not very good condition seem to be going for what was probably the full price when new! So probably not getting that.

Honestly, I'd say your list looks pretty good already, so wouldn't stress too much about getting more. Hayden just had his birthday a couple of weeks ago and we got him less than we have done previously, and he was very happy with it, took his time and paused to play with things, which was really nice.

Anybody got any book recommendations?
So far we have picked up some nonfiction. I hit a moment of desperation after being asked "Why does the earth go round the sun". But I'm thinking some new picture books wouldn't be a bad thing.

My son loves anything dinosaur! Have a look on The Book People. You can usually get a variety set really cheap

Jacob's car mad too and he has so many toys we don't have much space left so we're keeping things to a minimum this year.

. Go Kart - which will live in the wood shed!
. Toy story Buzz (disney store)
. White Company Polar Bear PJS (Xmas eve pressie)
. Science books (dunno which ones, hubby buying these)
. Bruder toy of some sort

& then bits and bobs in his stocking, Cars (movie) toy, a few hot wheels etc etc
