I saw Fran's h/b on the scan at 12wks. When I went for my 16wk appointment I asked if I could hear her h/b and they said they would try if I wanted but they don't usually bother because it's too early! I saw it again on my 20wk scan and I was 24 weeks before I actually got to hear it with a doppler!!!

went to my MW app and they couldnt get the HB on the doppler but did on the ultrasound. my heart almost sank when i didnt hear that little heart beating then was all better when i heard it, i guess my bubs was hidding over on the left and she thought it was in the middle

My OB has yet to find the heartbeat with a doppler. They never ever ever search in the correct spot (always too high). I've been finding it at home since I was 11 weeks. :haha: It's fine because there's an u/s machine in every room. They give up on the doppler really quickly & just switch the u/s machine on & find it that way instead. I don't know why they even bother with the stupid doppler.

I saw the heartbeat with Alec at 6 weeks, and heard it on the doppler at 12 at the OB's office. We never had a problem finding it on the doppler, thank goodness!

I have an appointment tomorrow at 9:20am to test my HCG and do some other tests. I am assuming I am about 4 weeks now? I don't know. I imagine that if things go well, I get to have some sort of a dating scan in a few weeks. When I talked to the nurse, she asked if I had breast tenderness and other pregnancy signs, and said it sounds good.

I took at dollar tree test yesterday that was positive then turned negative...but it was way oversaturated. It STILL looks wet about 30 hours later! So hard not to get my hopes up this time!

mumanddad - I'm so sorry hunni, hugs to you.

andie - really praying this little bean snuggles in tight :)

well ladies it looks like this year just may be a lucky year to bring in more babies. so many people i know have passed away but so many people are getting prego too!

im going to have my other ultrasound done 2morrow to see if anything is wrong with baby at this point. im feeling pretty good about it and cant wait to see baby again!!!!! i cant believe im almost done with first tri already !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Aw it's all so exciting :happydance: I can't believe you are almost 12wks already
i know i cant either and they just moved me up another day so i will be 12 weeks 2morrow. we had another ultrasound today and seen bubs and its hard to believe how much they grow in just 3 weeks! :cloud9:

i bet they will try mine again when i go in again in four weeks but that was my first time with that and it was not fun at all. i think its pointless to even use that stupid thing when they dont know where the baby is in the first tri most of the time..:dohh:

the MW nurse said that u should be able to find it around 10 weeks but i guess that not true after reading what other people write. we seen the heart beat and heard it from the ultrasound machine at 9 weeks and it was good and strong. when i went for my other scan at 7 weeks they seen it to.

heya guys

how are you all doing

finally got another gyno appt through on the 24th of march, i am so so nervous. everything has seemed to much recently and the loosing weight went out the window a little while ago.

my grandma has been in intensive care recently and it seemed like nothing could get any worse, but last week i got a fone call to say that i was succesfull in an interview for a promotion - so it was nice to have some good news for a chnage

the shifts wll be better and it'll be easier to bd on the right days as and when i eventually ov, so it's given me abit of a boost tbh

i am hoping to kick some but at the gyno appt soon and either get my metforim or at least some provera(sp?) so i can have a period for the first time in about 2 1/2 yrs lol

here is my bean getting big and being silly already sticking its tongue out and wouldnt move when she wanted it to. it has also flipped around with its head the opposit way from 9 weeks

I hope things go well at your appointment! It must be torture waiting that long though...although I guess 2.5 years without a period might not be so great either, lol.

Congrats on your promotion! A few weeks ago I honestly thought things couldn't get anyworse myself...but everything is looking up! I understand about having shift issues...I work 4:00 to midnight and DH works midnight to 8:00am. All he wants to do wen he gets home is sleep!

I'm sorry to hear about your grandma. I don't have any living grandparents anymore, by my grandfather didn't pass until my son was about 2 months old. It was sudden (well, as much as possible for a 90 year old man!) and I'm lucky enough to have a video of him and my son together. My grandpa was named Lawrence and I gave that to my son for his middle name.

Keep us updated on your appointment and try to stay tough!:hugs:

Hi Ladies,

I have been watching this thread for a couple months but for some reason was to affraid to post anything. A little info on me and OH. We have been TTC for amost a year. We did have a lost in Aug 2010. I have lost 26lbs in the last month and a half and hoping that will help us with TTC, since we know that I can get pregnant. The diet has been a good break for us...took our minds off of it. Well hope that everyone is having a good day so far!

Thanks,

Welcome Kellar - nice to have you :)

Hope everyone is well. I've had a bit of an eventful weekend! Had some brown discharge which turned into red spotting. So I went to the Early Pregnancy clinic today and had a scan, and saw my gorgeous little one for the first time :D Perfect heartbeat, and little arms waving around all over the place :D They put me at 9+5, but said it was a bit hard to measure so I have another scan in 3 weeks time :D

So what was a very worrying weekend turned out to be an amazing experience of seeing our baby for the first time :D Everything was absolutely perfect with baby and they couldn't determine a cause for the bleeding, they said it is relatively common and not to worry unless it gets heavy or I have pain.

I've had no more spotting, and I am totally in love with this little one - you just can't explain it can you?!!! :D :D

I am good! After my new BFP on March 11th, I went to the doc who wanted me to have a scan and have my betas done. Beta on March 15th was 201, but the scan wasn't good. The radiologist thought he saw the begining of an ectopic pregnancy, so I had my beta done again on Friday and another scan this morning. Beta on March 18th was 741, which was good, but I still spent all weekend worried to death!

Scan this morning showed only a cyst on my ovary and a very early gestational sac in my uterus. Yay! Things are going well so far. I can't believe that I was blessed with a BFP so soon after my MC, especially since it had been so long since I'd had a BFP (even one that I hadn't lost).

I'm feeling optimistic, as even with the one that got to 12 weeks, I didn't get a positive HPT until almost 8 weeks. Things seem to be much better this time around.

I have another scan in a week or so to look for baby and heartbeat.

OMG that must have been hell! :hugs: But I am so happy to hear that things have turned out well. And the fact that you are feeling so optimistic is a great sign. I am really happy for you!!

Just letting you girls know my next step is ivf. Got 10lbs to lose by june to get my bmi into overweight rather than obese.
