I'm a newb, and thought that this seemed like an apt place for my first post.
I'm 30, TTC #1, and have been seriously for about 10 months. NTNP for about 12 months before that. So in total, DBF and I are nearly at 2 years... frustrating!
I am a big lass, and used to be a lot bigger . I made the decision at the beginning of this year to lose some weight as I thought it would be more beneficial to my health and that of my future baby. Since losing about 3 stones, my cycle has gone crazy and although I'm still getting periods as normal, I am not even sure that I've ovulated in the last 10 months.
I didn't go on a strict diet, just ate healthier and did more exercise. More of a lifestyle change really.
OPK's are all negative, but I'm still having a regular cycle (albeit a long one of about 40 days). I did have positive OPK's before the weight loss... so it's all a bit confusing, lol.
I don't know whether to continue to lose more weight, or not!
I'm waiting for my period to come this month, then we're going gung-ho with charting temp, cm, and everything else I can about my cycle.
It's good to know that I'm not alone in this, and it's also good to read about fellow big girls who have become pregnant!
