.

But its not a diet as such as there is always something you can eat.

Its all about food optimising.

You can do it! Are you going to make an appt at the weight loss place? Keep us updated!

I'm doing alright...home from work with the flu.

So, anyway, I did test, just for fun (because I like to poas:blush:) and I used a blue dye test from Family Dollar. And it was NEGATIVE. The most completely negative blue dye test I personally have ever taken. Didn't get an evap for maybe five hours, and it was super light (but wide). I just had to laugh, because I'm surely crazy to take a test that I know I couldn't trust even if it had a line when I haven't even ovulated yet and most likely couldn't have gotten pg last cycle. I figure as long as it doesn't make me sad or anything, it's ok, right?

Today's (and now tomorrow's) assignment was to figure out maternity insurance (TM and I have basic-basic-basic medical insurance that pretty much just covers like, emergencies). We went to a place, filled out the form, found out they don't make copies there (and you can't see the form online to find out what you need copies of beforehand, goodtimes), so TM had to make copies of what we needed at work and we'll go back to the office tomorrow.
:dohh:
But the good news is that I'll have maternity insurance by next week and will be able to make a doctor's appointment to make sure Little Bit is doing good and everything.

Other than that - well, my "morning" sickness has really kicked in today. Except it's "evening" sickness, really. Starts at around 5:30pm.
I'm queasy and not hungry... But at the same time I would love love love a delicious samosa.
:munch: Too bad Indian takeout places aren't all over around here... Just Chinese, etc.

Starlit, if you dont mind me asking, how much do you weigh? You can PM it to me if you want. Just curious, well because I am so excited that you got your BFP and am really hoping that my weight isnt what is causing the lack of getting PG. I am assuming that it isn't though, because I have a very regular heavy cycle every month. How long were you TTC?

Haha, I don't mind. The honest answer is that I don't really know but the last time I weighed myself I was about 225 lbs. I'm 5 feet 4 inches tall. We own a scale but it hasn't even been taken out of the box...
We were TTC for 4 cycles - caught on Cycle 4. :)

Holly, that's good you'll have insurance soon! As far as m/s, with my son, it really was all day sickness, but worse in the evenings. I never did throw up though, that I can remember. I think it was just constant nausea.

I'm feeling a bit crushed. DH just left for work and before he left he said, "I hope you're not pregnant," because he acts like I might be anytime I get sick.

Thank you, for ripping my heart out and smashing it to pieces. You know that is the one thing I want more than anything in the whole world. You know how losing baby #2 was the worst thing I've ever experienced. You know how I feel. Thanks. Just what I needed.

Brandy, you're funny! Remember, I was about 250 when I got pg with #1 (1st month) and I was 270 with the one I lost, also 1st month. These things take time and it's most likely NOT your weight. (I'm on a kick about that topic lately.)

yes im going to make an app. with them, they already called me back so im going to call them and find out some info on what they do and all that good stuff. i got my metformin ER today and will start it in the morning!!!!

Yay! I used to work for a dietician (that's where I did my practicum) and we'd get a lot of referrals from doctors about that sort of thing and it was awesome for me because I'd get to sit in on people's appointments. I learned SOOO much and it was so fun!

So, I don't know if any of you have seen this thread, but I was really upset about it at first because I was certain bigger women were going to be attacked, but I'm actually quite happy with most of the comments

Hey love. If it's any help I was 286lbs when I got pregnant. I had been on the depo injection for 4 and a half years, got my period back in just over a month and it took us about 6months or so to conceive.

I've just read through the thread and it's kinda annoyed me ... like, who has the right to decide whether it's ethical for someone obese to ttc

but I have to say, I'm quite glad of some of the replies too

I'm glad I didn't see that thread before as I would have seriously gone off on one!!!! Having chatted to a lot of larger ladies on this forum who are pregnant, most of them have had no problems whatsoever, whilst those who are considered a more healthy weight have had all sorts of things go wrong.

I'm too close to the end to go getting myself upset now, we are all entitled to our opinion but the way I look at it is that every woman is different and anything could happen to any of us at any time!!!

 couldn't have said it better myself ...

I hope when the time comes, I have a pregnancy like yours :hugs:

bet you're getting excited now, not long to go :happydance:

I'm excited and fed up all at the same time lol!

The thing I find funny after reading that thread is that when I saw my consultant a week ago, she told me my pregnancy was just perfect lol. I have had no complications apart from heartburn, gtt was normal, anaesthatist said she will have no problems sticking a needle in me and a tube down my throat if I need emergency c section and wants me to have as active a birth as possible and I have actually lost 3 stones (42lbs!) :happydance:

lol ... any sign of her making an arrival? or is she just too comfy where she is for now lol

She is doing a lot of wriggling and bouncing on my cervix. I keep getting period crampy type feelings, and its a bit stronger today, but I haven't lost my plug or had a show yet. She does feel low down though - when I stand up I can feel the pressure bearing down lol.

I've had hot baths, curry and we DTD last night, but I fear she is just like her mother and camped in for the long haul lol. I was 15 days late - they had to force me out lol.

:dohh: lol ...

have you tried pineapple? I'm sure I read somewhere that it can help move things along, but I might be wrong :D
