Yes! That happened to me, a lot of the little inexpensive stuff was still on there. A lot of people aren't creative and can't pair items together (cheap ones) so they just buy bigger gifts!! It made it easier on me though so I didn't have to spend much on all the stuff left over on the registry!

Well with mine...They looked at my registry online to see what I wanted then just went to buy it. So a lot of the stuff on my registry were bought but it didn't say purchased. With the smaller things they just get what they like not what is on your registry lol.

i hope people don't do this to me! i'm registered for tons of Johnson's baby lotions and soap because I love the smell.

Mine was the complete opposite! I had only 5 things bought off my registry! I didnt get a diaper bag nor any pacifiers (glad I didnt as we arent going to use those) but I did get three baby carriers lol

personally i am thank-ful for anything given to us weather its big or small, we will buy what we have to buy and it doesn't bother me since we are her parents and its our job to provide for her.

Dont take my post as complaining. We feel the same way, we wanted to buy all his stuff. My in-laws insisted on the shower (which was wonderful by theway!)

I wasnt trying to take a shot at anyone at all, We didnt make a registry because i will be absolutely tickled pink with anything we get. Our families and friends are helping us out alot already, anything else we get it just a bonus since i honestly could ask anyone for anything else

we did a registry because every one kept asking where were we registered and what could they get us. THis way I could give them a list of what we needed and could keep track

Anyone thats asked us we just say clothes diapers wipes that kid of thing I think we have all the big stuff already
