Honestly a very "lazy" method (which can get tiring!) is to have sex every other day without fail.
Not every day, but every other day; only at bedtime, don't get up afterwards at all, or for at least 30 minutes.

Hi ladies, can I join you all please? I'm 41, been ttc no1 for 6 years, had lots of treatment including 3 IVFs and still hanging in there hoping for a miracle!

I'm waiting to start my 4th IVF (second one using donor eggs) in the Czech Republic in January but am still trying naturally using the Clearblue Fertility Monitor in the meantime. Sometimes I really do feel like ripping my hair out and giving up but if I do that then the last 6 years has all been for nothing, so just keep plodding on

Hopin&Prayin have you tried the SMEP method? Google it, it's really simple. Or if the funds stretch to it I'd recommend the Clearblue fertility monitor - takes all the guesswork out - it tells you when to ahem, get on with stuff :winkwink: They're not cheap but you can pick one up on Amazon for about £60 (they're over £100 in Boots) and the test sticks cost about £8 a month so not too bad.

Nice to meet you all ladies. Babydust to each and every one of us! :hugs:

Thank you.. Yes I am a hyper one.. Always movin... Lol Its hard to do every other day with hormones raging... Lol. I sometimes think we do it too much.. We only have so many days to get :sex: don"t want to miss the eggy. So we do just once a day... If I have to lay feet up in the air for 30 minutes I will. I begin my fertile mode on the 23rd... Resting up till then and night time it is ;)

Seems like were neighbors, Im in Louisville Ky.. What part you in if you don"t mind me asking :) Are you ttc now?

Wishing you tons of baby dust!! Hope this will be our lucky month!! :dust: :dust:

No more TTC for us. Not because I wouldn't love another child, but I can't take another miscarriage. And, I have to say that at my age with an 8 year old and a baby, I am beyond exhausted! I would need some time for the baby to get older and by then I would be nearly 50!

Great to see someone from Louisville! There's a few Louisvillians and Kentuckians around here.

I totally understand, Im pushing my luck turning 45 in October. Maybe I should throw the towel in.. I have met Kygirl on here, we talk regularly. She just had a baby boy, he"s 3 months old and growing quick... I just never found "the one" till now and he"s just turned 38 and he is as frustrated as I am. Im going for a check up this am and get bloodwork done due to wacky periods the last 2 months... Grr

Now if the weather would cooperate it would be Awesome, I hate the cold, its too early for this lol Soon to be Chili weather time!! Mmm

Well i am cd 5 and on my 14th month of ttc now, i think that the last month was probably the most emotionally difficult! My gp informed me that that the age limit for fertility specialist was 42 but said he would refer me anyway, if that was unsuccessful he is gonna refer me to a gynocologist instead. I just want to know if my plumbing works for goodness sake !!! tee hee .
On a brighter note the ducklings are huge ! They are eating us out of house and home, infact they much prefer being in our house than there home in the garden! They are difficult to name as all look so alike but we have put coloured bands on there legs. So far we have a bernard a cornielius and a margarie stuart baxter! Still to name the fourth unsure of any of the sexes so names may have to change at some point ha ha
Any ideas would be welcome!!!!!!
Good luck everyone so wonderful to have some good company . I heard a wonderful quote the other day:baby::wacko::thumbup: "life begins just outside your comfort zones" if this is true then last month my life truely began ha ha ha x :hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::dust::dust:

Piggie it must depend where you are then as my GP said that the age limit was 39 - I lied a bit to him saying that af was slightly heavier than normal and quite painful cramps and he referred me and ive just turned 43

Im waiting for AF so i can call the hospital and book an HSG but af was due yesterday and still no sign of her

Awwww I think those names are so cute - you dont have a Gemima (dont know how its spelt sorry) you have to have a gemima puddleduck

I feel like its too late for me, my af is out of control heavy bleeding for 2 straight days were I can"t even work and the cramps ugg.. I"m going to tge doctor this morning because of my concern for the pink spotting episodes, I just want to know IF I even have a chance to become pregnant :(

I waited too long to have a baby now this constant heartbreak .....

Hoping.. Have you been checked for fibroids already? It's done with an ultrasound and HSG? Did your do ever mention it?

Hi I'm 45 trying for my fifth after ten losses ,praying for a miracle :thumbup:good luck everyone :hugs::hugs::hugs:

Hello Ladies,
I would like to introduce myself and thank you all for your input on TTC at our age. I have two young adult children; 21 and 18 and always wanted to have more but not with my husband at that time. I finally found a wonderful man that wants to have more children, he also has adult children; 30, 27, 25 and 24.
I didn’t try to get pregnant with my older children but did have a MC after 4+ months with twins that resulted in me having a D&C after my youngest was born. That was very hard and my heart breaks for anyone that has gone through that procedure.
Now…I have had 2 MC that I have had Positive Pregnancy Test. In the last few months and we decided to try Ovulation tests. I have always been 28 days in my cycle and 13/14 in my Ovulation.
Questions to all of you…
Have you read that you can have regular periods and not ovulate? That is why I started the Ovulation Test.
Some say your body is ready to become pregnant again after a MC, has anyone had a pregnancy to term after this has happened?
I have never been so full of questions…any help and advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you ahead of time for your kindness and advice.

I have only been told that if my cycles are regular, then I am most likely ovulating. Gosh, I hope so! Good luck to everyone!! ChrisKat, I have 3 girls, 20, 16 and 13!

I so would love to have a baby with my hubs, he has no children of his own.

Hoping.. Have you been checked for fibroids already? It's done with an ultrasound and HSG? Did your do ever mention it?

I had a pap done last week, dr. said everything seems fine, yet she scheduled me for a ultrasound
My Mom seems to think thats the culprit..Fibroids.. I do have a small cyst on my right Ovary..... I know Im OV, maybe just missing the mark per say.. Lol

Good luck Whitesoxfan41 we do have older childen around the same age. Whole different ball game at this time of my life...but it is worth all of this!!!
