How do you age your LO at 6 months?

Do you use the calendar or weeks and does it matter?

We will wean Evie at 6 months and I'd like to know what other people done

Xx

We went by calendar months once she was about 3 months old. We started weaning about a week before she turned 6 months.

you can use either or

ie 24 weeks being 24 weeks (24x7days) - and 6 months being say the 21st of jan to the 21st ju;y

the confusion is where people try to use both at the same time and count a month as 1 week (7 days) which will never work out

We weaned Alex on the 12th of July (six calendar months). x

Calendar months now. In weeks though 6 months is classed as 26 weeks.

I started weaning yesterday - at 6 calendar months xx

So, 6 months is not the same as 24 weeks - but I dont think that was the question although there are loads of folk who seem to think that 6 months is 24 weeks and it annoys me!!!

I give Anna's age in months as its much easier. She was born on 11th Jan so was 6 months on 11th July...

Recommend weaning at 6 months (26wks) - we started Anna around 5.5 months (24 weeks):flower:
