6w6d and no detectable heartbeat?! Please help!

It's funny really, the last 2 weeks wait feel like nothing compared to the wait from when i woke up this morning until 2:30pm for my scan. Time is dragging :/

Yeah I have a feeling time is going to really start dragging. And how did you know that you had a tilted uterus? They didn't really tell me a whole lot of anything at my scan just that I was more than likely going to miscarry... Grrr.

Are you still going to the same office? If so, can anyone there even look you straight in the eye? My goodness, if they tried that with me and then bub had a heartbeat, I'd make them remember it every time I went in after that!

I really think they are jumping to conclusions here ! With my second I went at around 6+3 weeks and they couldn't see a heart beat, they said it was probably too early so I went back a week later and there it was ! I think anything under 7 weeks at the least can be too early.

what had happened was they scheduled the d &c without me even knowing and told me to go back in two days etc to check for the hb... but that day when i got home i loked on my hospitals website, because u can log in and see upcoming appointsments etc.. and then i saw surgury for wednesday (2 days later) so i called them thinking they got me mixed up with the other nicole lewis in their office and they said no hunnie.. u werent supposed to see that ..we just do it in case it is a miscarriage so u dont have to wait a whole week to remove baby... well I freaked out on them... theyve been super nice ever since!

My gyno told me I have a tilted or retroverted uterus when I had a pap smear a few years ago. Apparently it is quite common but a lot of woman don't know about it.

I have tilted uterus too! My mother does too..it can be hereditary..by 12 weeks it should be back in is regular place..u wont show earlier or later bc of the tilt..

Update!! Had a scan today and seen bub and strong heartbeat fluttering away straight away!! Turns out I did ovulate late do I am 8 wks instead of 9 like I thought which is why at the scan 2 wks ago we didn't see anything (as it was only 6 wks it was too early). Stay positive girls!! x

at 6 weeks they only saw my beans tiny heartbeat flickering..doctor checked my pulse and my pulse was different which means it was there just very tiny. Went back at 7+4 and they heard a hb of 143bpm. Stay positive hun.

When I MC'd I was told that if the baby is measuring less than 7 weeks & there's no heartbeat, they can't confirm whether there is a problem. Although it is normally picked up at just over 6wks, they need to be sure that you should be at least 7 wks before saying MC (even on an internal scan). Guess it depends on the scan machine (&whether it's an idiot using it too!).

I can understand them saying you should prepare just in case, but I definitely think there's a good chance all could be fine! xxx

UPDATE: Went in today for another ultrasound. I was very discouraged at first because the lady doing my ultrasound kinda shook her head and didn't seem happy. She then had me hold very still for a second and she leans down and says "There's a heartbeat!!" I was so shocked!! I immediately started crying! I just couldn't believe it. God is so good. Last week they said I was measuring 6w6d, but they said they must have been off because TODAY I'm measuring 6w6d. Which would make sense as to why they couldn't see the heartbeat last week, it was too early!!
So ladies, if you are going through the same thing, STAY CALM! My doctor told me to prepare myself, because I was going to miscarry, and they were wrong! They baby is so small right now it's not even a centimeter long! Many things could prevent them from seeing the heartbeat. Just have faith and don't forget to pray!
