just wondering how much formula your lo has at 7 months? harry is just coming up 7 months and has 3x8oz a day! i am going to try and reduce this to 3x7oz in the next week or so, does this sound about right? hes just started having 3 meals a day instead of 2 also! thanks!

I think 3 x 8oz sounds good! My DD's only 6.5 months old, but she drinks 5 x 4.5 oz, sometimes 5 oz. She only has 1, maybe 2, solid meals a day. I always read food before 1 is just for fun, and they should be getting all the nutrition from the formula. 24 oz a day sounds great!

Seth is 6.5 months and I make 4 x 7oz bottles each day, but he doesn't always drink it all! I'd say he has 18oz minimum on a bad day when he can't be bothered, but probably mostly around 20-24. He is on 3 meals and also has a yoghurt and sometimes some fruit.

4/5 7oz bottles per day, 4 if he sleeps thru, 5 if he has a night feed.

He also has 3 meals and a snack.

4 bottles a day of roughly 5oz, and an extra 3-4oz bottle if she wakes in the night. She's never been a big milk drinker. This is the most she's ever had.

My DS is 7 months and takes 6 bottles per day and they are all 8 oz each. I know...he is a big eater. He also has 3 jars of food too.

My daughter is just about 8 months. She has 5-6 bottles a day. They used to be 4-6oz each but the last few days they have only been 3-4oz. I am thinking of giving her less bottles in a day and try to make them 6-8oz and see if that helps her eat more.

thanks for the replies! my health visitor told me he only needs 2 bottles morning and night but that doesn't seem much to me? x
