I know how this feels. Something similar happened to me. My uterus is completely upside down (a genetic trait since my mom is the same). Mine was actually further along (I was 14 weeks) and it was actually a doppler. They couldn't find the heartbeat so decided to send me for an ultrasound to be sure. The baby was just in the right position and the ultrasound tech took longer then she expected to locate the heartbeat (at that stage she saw the baby easily but it was harder to see the HB). I was later informed that it was unusual for me cause I was further along then they normally see this phenomenon but it is a common thing to happen in early pregnancy with women who have a tipped uterus.
Thanks for all the support and encouragement. The baby was gone and all thats left is an empty sac. I am going in for a d&c Monday. going for more tests anfd will try again!
