8 DPO & need some help

hello..joining the 2ww at 8dpo... i THINK! According to an online calendar it said i should o on the 9th of june. I bought a CBE OPK on june 6th and it displayed a smile. Does that mean i would be ovulating in the next 24-48 hours? or i am ALREADY O when i get the smile? How many DPO am i? im not sure how to calculate.
in any case; yesterday i woke up nauseas; yesterday & today i had this weird feeling in my lower abdomin...not cramping... it wasnt painful... i would say a pressure/pulling almost maybe even a twinge that would randomly appear and stick around for a bit. its gone tonight though. what could this be? you would think i would know considering this is my second time around, i already have an almost 2yr old!

Hello there,

I think that when you get a smiley on a digi OPK it is indicates that you are ovulating within 24-48 hours but I would extend that to 36 hours to be "on the safe side" generally a +OPK can mean one of three things:

1) You are ovulating late (find my threads!)
2) You are expecting AF (some readers on here find they have +ve OPK's a few days before they get AF)
3) You have conceived.

The best way of finding out one over another is to:

1) Get doing the BD anyway! no harm in that!
2) Take a HPT if this is -ve and OPK is +ve, assume that you are either ovulating late or are expecting AF.

If you keep testing with OPK's and finally get a -ve (some do, some don't!) and there is still no sign of AF, assume that four days following your +ve OPK was 1DPO.

so, 1dpo is 4 days after a pos opk?? i usually count 1dpo as the day after i get a pos??

I think 1DPO is the day after ovulation. I got 3 days of faint lines on an opk then a strong one onthe 4th day so I must have ovulated that day. So the following day was 1 DPO.
