i have had 2 positive hpts, went for a hcg blood test yesterday only 11dpo, results back today and my level was only 9 which is really low... just hoping it was still really early and my numbers are just low because of that... also had a miscarriage last august so that could be affecting my levels too??

However, took a clear blue digital test this morning that come up positive 1-2 weeks post ovulation, and as someone else pointed out, it only registers positive over 25ml is that correct? if so, that means my levels went from 9 yesterday to at least 25 today :/ so i am now CAUTIOUSLY optimistic...

any thoughts anyone can share???

Sorry everyone. I forgot to come back to update. I took another test on 9dpo and again it was very faint. I could barely see it and I'm not sure if it was darker than 8dpo or not. I did take them like 18 hours apart and I have read that you should take a test every 30 hours. My husband thinks 9dpo is darker, but I'm just not sure.

I'm too afraid to test because I'll feel like an idiot if it's negative, (which I have a feeling it will be). I'm going to test again tomorrow and then I will come back and tell you all. I have a strong feeling that I'm out though

I tested and of course it was negative. I'm never testing early again. I will be back here one day with a real positive.

Doesn't mean it wasn't a real positive hun. If you get more than one positive in a month that's within the time limit those aren't faulty tests, you were pregnant. so there's nothing to feel stupid about. The issue with testing early is you can pick up chemical pregnancies, and now that tests allow us to test early it's being understood that they're not the "rarity" it was once believed they were and are actually very common, especially in the first week after implantation.
