Today is day 7 of my gonal F treatment, and 2 days since my period ended. They found 9 follicles on the ultra sound this morning.
I don't know if I should be excited or not. The nurse said that hopefully out of the 9 follicles that 50% will have eggs in them. What's that? About 5? Being optimistic here.
But, then we are doing genetic testing, so she said hopefully out of 5, 3 eggs will turn out okay. Then she said they test them twice, to make sure. Apparently women around age 30 have about 50% abnormal eggs. (way to go for a super awesome conversation).
Oh man. I want to feel excited, but it's all so mind-blowing!
